With mother's Day getting near i thought i would get making my card.This weeks card i have made for my mum.I know she wont appreciate it as you know with having late stages of Alzheimers ,doesnt even know im her daughter which is sad not just for me but for my dad also,But i know shes my mum and i LOVE her to bits this card is entitled ;

Design Dollies:create a project that honors the women in YOUR lives...This is in honor of my Mum who has suffered with alzheimers as many of you know for the last 5yrs.Two years ago we had to make the agonising Decision to put mum in a home as we could no longer care for her at home.This Broke our hearts and guilt wasn't the word but dad had struggled for 5 yrs with out social services help.Now mum had turned to the anger stage.Alzheimers is such a sad and cruel diseasefor anyone to suffer being patient or relative. Mum doesn't know who we are but i know she's my Mum and we love her thats the most important thing.
I have used the beautiful papers from My Minds Eye;"Bella Bella" .The wording is also from my Minds eye same Range says
"Believe in your imagination and your dreams will take Flight"
The image is Magnolia coloured with copics.Sentiment Happy Mother's day is from Sweet n Sassy.The Cream lace is from angel Crafts,flowers are Prima and Orchid Crafts,The wee butterfly is from My Minds Eye set also.
I hope you like my take on all your challenges with this card.Im sure mum will get pleasure out of looking at it in her room even if she doesnt know who from.The love is in the card and the making.The most important thing is I know shes' my Mum and i love her and honour her to bits!She cared for me for many years now it's my turn to repay that honour.
