Another Card for my Alzehiemers Fund Raising

Cute one!

I have been crafting this morning and this wee little fellow from Peaqchy keen Stamps is so cute just had to use him.This card is going to my Alzhiemers fund .Hope you like him ,ive coloured with copics the pointsetta is from the lovely K & Co.

Alzehimers fund Raising

These are just some of the crafty creations i have been making for alzehimers if anyone interested in buying any please let me know as monies all go to alzehimers.

This weekend i have been busy creating items to sell in aid of Alzehimers at the forth coming bazaar,fetes and sales the first one coming up middle /end October so i am busy making allsorts of things .The altered notebook was actually for a challenge over on Gina K Forum ,but also to sell at my Alzehimers fairs .The paper is Kaiser (i just adore there papers),flowers no less than prima ,the front is a covered beer matt with some lovely letters spelling note book.These i found whilst clearing out my craft room last week.The wee wooden heart i have covered with red copics,this is used a bookmark for the notepad and thanks to my dear friend Queenie (akaTracy)who sent me these in an Rak.thanks hun hope your back is better.Then after finishing the note book went on to other things below.

Yes i have been making door hangers ,like the one below Betty boo ,also Tinkerbell,Halloween door handles .I have been very creative also at the moment i am busy doing door plaques they have been painted waitng to dry before i go on to decorate.

Then i am starting on my gift bags and boxes.I will upload more as i finish but i just thought id let you see what ive been doing towards my fund raising.Big thanks go to all who have sent and promised me craft items for the fund raising.

From what i see on the news last night Alzehimers seems to becoming an Epirdemic as such....... and set to get worse over next few years saying many more of us could be found to have Alzehimers and it's not just the elderly who can get this cruel disease .I know of a 45 yr old male married with 2 young children his wife is basically bringing up the children on her own as a single parent as she can no longer cope looking after her husband ,she's had to put him in care which i know too well is the hardest decision to make.The children are not old enough to understand whats happened to their dad which is so sad.

So please dont stereo type and think it's just a Disease for the elderly as it is Not!

I shall be back later to add day 20 candy just gotta sort girls out for school then i have meeting at school so will be around midday beofre i can get back on.

Alzheimers Fund Raising and Card Challenges

Well im still busy crafting when i am able to in between sleeping!!!My ME/CFS has been playing up the past few days so havent done so much crafting.This back to school card i made on friday and have only just got up to posting now.It is also actually a DT card ,Whihc is for the C.R.A.F.T Challenge . This paper i received in a rak and is so lovely especially girlie ,plus apt as back to school.So i have added a magnetic book mark to go together with the card and of course my fav little Tinkerbell Fairie sparkle.Hope you like my project.Please leave a comment thanks!

This week over at Inky Impressions it is Nicole's Birthday so this weeks theme is to make a

"Birthday Card"

So i have done just that but as you know im doing my fund raising for "Alzheimers"i have incorporated that into it .So yes it is a birthday card with a magnetic book mark to match.The below views are the bookmark and card seperate.

They are so lovely to use clear images ,already mounted ,good value for money.

As for the punch i have used a Muguils punch for the leaves.

Alzehimers Daily Blog Candy Day 4,

I Can't believe it's day 4 already time goes fast ,now onto the count down back to school for my 2 girls which is next tuesday for youngest as she starts high school ...my baby starts high school how old does that make me feel....Eldest goes back tuesday thats when i get time to get back to "normality" as they say and food shopping bill goes down,yes theyve eaten us outta house and home these past 7 weeks...lol enough of my waffle ....this is what your waiting for.

I am patiently waiting for my new "Sarah Kay"so cute Christmas release stamps which i pre ordered some time ago,they are at the moment between USA and UK mail deliveries so Knowing good old royal mail still be waiting for them this time next week...lol Anyway in the mean time i have been a making.

Alzheimers fund raising.....Mum's Birthday

Yesterday we went to celebrate mum's birthday and good time had by all such a sad and cruel disease .Don't honestly think mum had any clue to what was going on mind.The home had given us alounge and when we entered they had decorated with banners ,birthday cake ,bucks fizz,and lovely spread ,which we didnt expect at all or asked for.
As we were there i got to speak to one of the girls she is the lady who looks after there occupational needs and is trying to raise monies for hydro pool which in turn will help alot of the residence .So they are trying to do alot of fund raising.So when i get back ive promised to make cards and a few altered art items so they can sell to help fund raise .

All donations greatly accepted can be from cards to altered art ,decorated note books,jewelery anything that you think they can sell at forth coming fund raising coffee mornings ,bazzars that they have palnned between now and christmas.They are not given enough funding to spend on occupying the residence as it is .This i feel is one thing that Alzheimers patients benefit from having there mind occupied.The lady who is doing this Maureen has some fab ideas but just hasnt got the money to do this out of the budget they are given.
