" Half Term Candy"

Good Morning Thank god it's friday,and the girls broke up for half term last night.So i expect other crafting mother's children have to.Well after yesterday at the hospital what an experience that was!Hand my die injected and as they inject into the hand they take photos of the die going through my rt eye the one ive lost all sight from.After having that done they did warn me i would be seeing Pink.....OMG pink pink everything it's fun actually seeing all these men male doctors pink clothes faces hair everything was pink from head to toe.I even said to sophie and my friend Karen who came with me they looked good in Pink...lol

Anyway i should have gone back in 6 weeks to have opd and get results.But when they had given me cuppa coffee took needle out apparently showed dr the results i now have to return a week thursday they have brought my indepth brain scan forward to 2nd march(week wednesday).

So i have made my mind up that im going up to dad's for the week from sat to sat with the girls ive informed the gp re sophie and given all my phone numbers she could do with a break also.Plus i am suspecting they have found something or else they wouldnt bring everything forward.So i need to go and see dad just incase they take me in.It will be nice break and i get to see my good friend June who runs Dezina World .

A shopping trip is on the cards...
Anyway so couldnt go away without leaving you something.All my lovely followers so i have some lovely candy for you.......no calorie candy at that..lol

Stampman Challenge.....Anything Tim

Good Morning well i have for you today a piece i have made over the past few days

Mojo being what it is at the moment hard to get creating.

This week over at the Stampman challenge for challenge 19 is :

Anything Tim

This is going to be the front cover of my circle journal .Which is completed and returned and just not got round to doing the front cover.

I have used Bind it all board and covered with the beautiful lush papers from Thornton Hall.

I have used distress inks Antique Linen, Old Paper,Barn Door all Tim's distress inks.I have then used a domino and altered used an image from my stash and added Clear Rock Candy Sticklers too.

Ithen stamped Tim Holtz stamp from the set"Stuff To Say"in distress Embossing Powder.Added Copper embossing powder and heated up to get the copper finish.I then found some chipboard shapes and letters that i painted with guesso and then distressed with inks same as used above except this time added inkessentials glossy accents to.The flowers and leaves i purchased from Simon says stamps with my winning voucher last week.Tehy are by prima and gorgeous i added embossing powder the same as the sentiment to the edges to add bit more copper glitz. The angel and Rose where made and sent to me by a friend ans added them both as thought they went well .

Hope you like my creation cant beleive took me ages to do .

Just hope my mojo returns soon.As i have sooo many projects i

want to get finished just sit looking at them..lol

Good Morning Sunday ...DT Card Creative Inspirations Challenge 56

Good Morning Sunday and boy what a change in weather had to get me woolies out yesterday.After having glorious weather last week in t-shirts we got spoilt!lol.

Well im afraid to say my mojo hasnt returned as yet but im trying to craft just get frustrated especialy when i havent the use of my left arm but then im right handed.

Anyways nearly into April soon be Easter my lot break up week Thursday dont go back until 27th only back 1 day and then off for long weekend hardly seems worth it!

Well it's time for another challenge over at Creative Inspirations my sister blog.this will take us up until the 7th April so if you want to enter all you have to do is......

Mother's Day/Mum card .project,tag whatever aslong as you follow the theme.It has to be new and not back linked either please .

This card i created couple weeks ago for mum's birthday but im now using it to send to her on Mother's day as my mojo just wouldnt allow me to create a new one.

The image is yes the lovely digi from sugar nellie .Coloured in with copics ,mounted onto SU cardstock and then onto SU Top Note Die which are now available to buy in the UK.Idistressed that and also stained the scrabble tiles.Flowers are mixture of Prima and Wild Orchard Crafts.The cream lace is from my stash which is embellished with cream pearls from Kaiser craft.The long string pearls from my craft stash.I then spritzed with tattered angels Glimmer mist .Sorry for the piccy below doesnt show very well as so drab and miserable today. May Your Dreams Come True!

Good Morning well looks like the Blue skies and sunshine are back,but hey that wind is a bit on the Parky side !Anyways i had time yesterday to get Inky !Boy i did just that didnt know what it would turn out like as ive never altered a domino.
First of all i well and truly got inky with my distress inksBrushed Corduroy,Rusty Hinge,and Aged Mahogony& bit Spiced Marmalade.I then had a stamped image that had been sent to me so i used embossing pen and added silver SU powder to heated and got this result i did the same put added Debbie More baby blue to the car.Stamped the sentiment down the side which is a stamp i received sometime ago from Crafty Individuals.
I then used this beautiful fringe stamp from Prima and Embossed in gold SU powder to the bottom added my brads which i hit to distress them but unfortunately must invest in a hammer sure i have some somewhere.I then sewed the image to the fringe with metal wire.(Never before have i tried this love using it!
My Domino i inked the Whole thing with Krylon Copper Leafing Pen I saw this technique on the CraftBarn Blog.I Added my image ,then covered in Rock Candy Stickles all over .I added the beaded pin to the top of the domino and stuck down with my cordless heat gun(Highly recommend this Gun!!)
Coloured in my prima flower added clock face from my stash stuck to the middle.Added an aray of fibers and made wee charm to go through the top of the tag.

Free As A Birdie

Good Morning all and boy where's Spring gone?!Cold north eastererly wind blowing here this morning.Heres me thinking the cold weather had gone to bed for good....lol
Today i have for you yet another tag ive been experimenting with my distress inks.I have used
Spiced Marmalade,Dried Marigold,Antique Linen Wild honey.the stamp is Tim holtz from one of his new released sets.I have outlined the bird from the stamp with Sakura Black GlazeThe bottomborder fringe stamp is from Prima i have embossed that with Black embossing powder from SU.The Trim ive glued on whihc is from my overflowing crafty stash..lolThe beautiful metal bird cage is bronzed with Krylon.Fibres added from my stash.Flower Prima coloured with added gem from Kaisercraft.


Sorry about the piccy it's so dark and drab this morning!
the light seems to have reflected on the birds head!

Easter Treats Easel Card

Good afternoon not so nice as yesterday cold bitter wind,so my daughter informs me snow by end week!Here's me thinking spring had arrived.

Well it has in my craftroom every year for Easter i usually make homemade treats and need new holders.Last year it was Easter baskets so this year wanted to try something new.

So i have incorporated an easel card into a treat holder.I can hear you sounds yuck but i am pleased with the end result.Love to know what you think.

The cardstock is all SU ,the D/Papers springtime forever friends.the sentiment is from the same set also.

I have had to take various piccys so you can get the idea .The ribbon ive used is from forever friends springtime collection.The Easter we sign is from last years stock.the flowers are punched in felt and ive added gem.The centres made using nesties die cuts,round punch ,and small ovals.

so you get card and prezzie in one!

WOYWW 92.....Spring is in the Air

Well Woywwers this is the sorry state of my ribbon draw.Yes my craftroom looks beauitful but my ribbons don't!So that is on the agenda this week spurred on by Really Reasonable Ribbons who are having an organization week with some fab Prizes to giveaway.I certainly could do with some of them...lol.Well at least they are colour coded the ribb0n bags so wont be too hard to tidy...or maybe it just might.Only have 3 of each colour...lol.Nest down fall to Prima Flowers!

Anyways it's Wednesday.......So

Good morning Woywwers gosh time is flying by another few weeks we will have reached the 100th nosy.Yes it's wednesday again hump day known to many of us .I know that your thinking but when ever i was on a week nights.Wednesday was know as hump night once we got wednesday over the weekend was here and that meant a whole week off!

So now what does it mean well thanks to the Boss M/S Dunnit of the Stamping Ground .

Know house work gets done on wdensdays we all nosey on down to everybodies desk to see what they are creating!So if you fancy joining in pop over to Julias blog link above and join in our wednesday delight!Sad i know but we just love it !Being nosey of course....

I must say this week the photo at the bottom is one of the prizes that i won from OWOH ....thanks so much Fiona beautiful plaque.It will be pride and place in my craftroom.
Lots things going on this week i have actually taken time out me time to
do some well earned crafting and catch up with projects i have outstanding.this was my desk last night well lie really as i had my creation thats nearly finished for the Big WOYWW 100.So had to move that and also a dt card.You can spot some tags drying which are in the making.In the below piccy theres some pastel ribbons and some images i have to get colouring for dt project.Near the tags and key board you can just see a lovely chain this was sent by a dear friend in US .Who thought maybe i could use or take to bits for crafting.Beautiful vintage watch think i will use to nice to break up dont ya think?

Spring is in the Air

Good Morning to you all.Seems like an age since i last blogged and created.Life just sometimes gets in the way...tut tut.Thankyou for all your comments re hubby he is okjust started to mobilize gently,Dr signed him off for another 2 weeks.

Yesterday i managed some me time well my daughter Sophie also joined me in my crafting room.So we both sat having a good old inky time.Sophie has just joined blog land would love you to pop by and leave her amessage would make her day Here.

This is a tag ive also made for the March Tag swap im in.Just love these colours reminds me of spring.Mind we have had some lovely sunny blue sky days here in Norfolk of late even got washing dry outside!

Anyways onto my tag whihc ive cut with Tim Holtz tag die.I have used various distress inks .

Wild honey,dried Marigold,Spiced Marmalade,and Rusty hinge around the edges.I have then stamped the image off a beauitful stamp called"Mariposa"This was sent in a RAK from a friend in the USA.It has the name on the stamp and a label saying bought from Michaels nothing else.so thats all i know.I embossed the image using Stamp in Up black embossing powder.Also inked the edges of the flowers whihc are from Wild Orchard Crafts.Then aded this lovely Glass embellishment from Prima to the centre of the fowers.

The ribbons are from my Halloween stash!

Woyww 91.......

Good Morning Woywwers ...Just time seems to be flying by where is this year going March already !Well another Wednesday has arrived so that means nosey at the ready and hop over to Julia's Blog at The stampin Ground if youd like to join in with the Wednesday nosey!

I went away to dads last week had fab time relax met my friend had coffee,shopped relaxed.Then saturday hubby went to shut the door behind him and Bingo his back went!Omg we have had a made few days hes upstairs bed ridden,cant get out to go loo nothing.What a saturday night we had called gp on call who told us to ring Ambulance needs hospital need xray before given any pain releif.Well cut long story short .The ambulance turned up 2hrs later .How i did loose my rag with the ambulance girl i will never know .Cut long story short when i get time i am going to complain.Chloe answered door and she shouted mum ambulance for dad to go to hospital.I came down .The ambulance woman shouted "you think im taking him to hospital with back pain your wrong"!!!!Im not going to bore you anymore but went from bad to worse .Found out why she was so angry no ambulances in our area all out she had to come hour and half away .Not my fault!So since i got back had very eventfull weekend.

I havent done much crafting ive made another tag for my March tag swap i more to go im making them all the same this months.Hope you like it.Theres nothing much on my desk this week as havent had time with my hospital opds ,hubby iin bed iunable to get out to go loo ,plus sophie's drs and hospital opds.

I hope you like my second tag maybe this week i may steal some me time and get the other one dne then mailed off.

Yesterday Neet made my day bless her the post man arrived with some lovely piccys of Sir Tim Holtz from there craft session last week and she got his Autograph for me and he even put my name he he he OMG i was like someone whop had one the lotto...lol

I have in retunr found her bird cages she is looking for so as soon as they arrive neet i need your addy and will post them out to you.

As you know i didnt go to see Tim with everything going on just as well.but i made up for it by seeing him on QVC ...thats not all i had a spend too yes .Do you know since i got back saturday i havent had chance to even have aplay with my goodies.

YES ...the VAGABOND ...i trested myself and of course 3 new dies.so maybe bu next week i will fingers crossed manage to have a play...lol
