Dt post for It's Crafting Time

My Dt project this week i have created a Steampunk creation.I have used Wendy Vecchi's art Parts made into a small frame.I distressed the parts with Antique Linen.I have used old Paper from a Dictionary to cover the centre and also distressed that.The image used is from Denzinaworld where images are Free/ Or Small Donation.I have added glossy accents to his hat to give depth and 3d look.Stamped out the clock background using a free stamp from a magazine in Archival /black,then distressed the edges with Antique Linen,Covered with a clock charm from my stash.I have added Computer generated sentiment"Time Waits For No Man"
Which is distressed with antique linen also.The metal Filigree corners are from the Funkie Junkie shop.Tim Holtz ideology clasp and chain and sprogats.The large key also is from my own stash.The letters are peel offs which were silver,but i have altered with
with copper Alcohol inks.

An award And Some Candy

Good Morning Peeps sorry no creations to show you this friday as im still looking for my mojo!Anyway im up early as have to go to fracture clinic early as my daughter ?#her wrist and thumb so have to go back to see specialists this morning.

But i have been given this lovely award from my dear friend Cheryl who also has some candy on offer at the moment.whihc will tell you about at the bottom of this post.

A Chest For all My Charms /Trinkets

Good Morning wednesday ive not been around much i seem to have left my Mojo at the hospital after getting my Results on Monday.Whihc now i am being referred to Neurologist Consultant as they think highly likely i have MS.So that would explain my loss of sight rt eye and since Sunday loss of the use of my left arm and down my lft side of face .Anyways only have until 12th May to wait!

Thank heavens i was able to craft after last weeks post when you all saw my charms and trinkets .I needed something to hold them in so .I had an old chest which didnt really like was going to through out......So i altered the design on it so i changed it!Instead of throwing away my scrasps paper used them too recycled 2 into one..lol
I painted with gesso first after sanding down then painted with Kaiser Egg Shell paint .
Used scraps designer paper torn with friskas's edgy ruler. Randomly stuck onto my box.
I then got some tiles and distressed with inks to add to the front .I had this lovely handmade rose i received in a RAK i added to the front.

I then used up some ribbon and stuck that down using my cordless glue gun...whihc is a godsend!
I then added Cracklepaint to the top of the box .Completely let it dry /crackle
Then i inked over the crackled surface with distress inks old paper and Antique linen.Then used dry baby wipe to reveal the image.Have stamped and inked around the design papers and edges.
This is what i designed the box for...


Rather alot i know i just collect hoard !
So now they are all nicely in one place.

WOYWW 93.....Messy But In aLovely Way..lol

Welcome to another WOYWW 93 we are getting closer to the 100th .I have already finished my creation...lolFor once im ahead of myself...Anyway yes it's wednesday again and the weeks just seem to be flying by started off lovely springlike and now think wintrs come back!No sunshine or blue sky,just mist damp and cold!

Thanks for all the kind comments i made it through most except for some that blogger were either playing up or was just being pig headed and didnt want me to see..lol.

Well this was my desk last night and this morning.I am at the moment creating a configuration box of MR T's .I was actually sorting through my bits to see what i maybe able to use.Really you dont realise how much you have until you start rummaging. The above piccy is my desk and the following piccys are close up's so you will be able to see all my wee bits and pieces.

This piccy is my over flowing box i keep them in Well one of them havent showed you the other!.So i have now started to paint well sunday a wee chest to keep them in.Hopefully that will be completed next week so i can show you.

Here's a close up of some of my wee treasures.Top rt hand corner i have my creative bits sewing machine cotton reel,scissors and maniqune(dont think thats how you spell it..lol)you now what i mean.Next to them you will see this wee beautiful chest that opens so havent yet made my mind up whats going in there yet but so cute!shame to use...thats my problem love these trinkets so much dont want to use them im daft sod ! Then have some trees with birds and a lovely fairy door near the moon some clock faces .

Heres some more wee goodies the birdcages finally found some !yep so i am defo going to incorporate one after seeingall those lovely displays from Tims crafting sessions in the Uk few weeks ago.

Wee bottles,skeleton keys butterflys,sentiment charms.

so not much going on just sorting through my wee bits so i can plan each wee box .

I did also manage yesterday to amke a card and paint photo frame and my chest box .So i didnt waste a day drooling over my charms and trinkets.

Cant wait until my prize arrives it's surprise so may just have to hijak the postie this morning..lol
