April Tag for Tim Holtz 12 Tags 2012

OMG it has taken since last wednesday for me to be able to upload something to my blog.Here is the April tags for Tim Holtz 12 tags for 2012 .Which can be found on his fabulous website HERE
I have used Tim Holtz Tag Die,Frame Embossing folder ,i used bazzil design paper for backing.Distressed this with marigold,spiced Marmalade,Faded Jeans and gathered twigs .I used a die cut leaf coloured with distress inks then added glossy accents onto the leaves .The wee cute birds are from a set by Kars distressed those also to match.The sentiment words are fromTim Holtz's Chit chat book which i highly recommend these are fab so handy!
The crown is a charm from my stash,the journal tag is ideology.The binding is from my stash and has been dyed.The flower also from my stash coloured and su brad added.

I have been getting withdrawls just couldnt up load anything .So today and last night sat fiddled with my blog and hey presto i can now post .Don't ask me what i did as aint got a clue..lol

I know i can now upload my DT project that should have been done last wednesday and also join in with my fellow woywwers tomorrow.

So here's my entry!

I have used Tim Holtz tag and as i call it Charlie Chaplin dies.Have cut both from hardboard.

I then got some SU glossy Card Stock and with the help of Alcohol inks ,Caramel,Gold,Latte,Aqua,and Mixative pearl .I made the backing paper.I then stamped images in Black Archival ink fromCreative Journey stamps "Gentlemen Never Wear Brown in London quote.And the scene of the London eye and houses of parliment onto the tag.
I then covered the charlie man die in copper alcohol inks.For the umberella used the mosaic technique and around that i used Ultra thick mica embossing powder copper.

As i am also following Tims 12 Tags for 2012 this will also be my March entry.

I then stamped the carnaby street sign from the same set and layered onto Stampin up brown cardstock the same as the tag .To finish i found these lovely flowers whilst clearing out from prima and the brown seam binding is also from my stash.

I am also entering this in over at the Artistic Stamper March Challenge the theme this month for March is "Travel"

Happy Valentines day to you all

Happy Valentines Day

Good morning all, hope it's warmer where you are ,still got the aftermath of the snow .The temperatures have gotton alittle warmer not much i think instead being minus 8 we are plus 2 !!!huge jump it's frezing.Anyway i have made this Valentine tag for my DT project over at i'ts crafting time.This week it's diecuts .I have used the ones that came in my dt package check out the shop for all designs Here.

I recycled another cereal box and used that to cut the tim holtz tag die from his alterations set.I then covered the tag with some designer paper i made from a marbling set ive had for years .Im not impessed had to waste alot ...lol but im gonna try again as i do like the effect.Even though got totaly messy and inky!The smallest diecut i distressed with festive berries ink. From Tim Holtz seasonal set.I then stuck that to the larger doilie die cut.,added some red weave.Distressed the die cut heart that was also in my DT package.Used the same distress ink and then stamped in black arcchival the Love,Love Love stamp from the "LA Compagine des elfes"which i totaly love.Added few buttons and beautiful a flower from The funkie Junkie esty. shop.http://www.itscraftingtime.co.uk/I Stamped in the in Red festive berries ink LoveStamp from my stash,onto a Tim Holtz Ticket Attached to the flower .To finish off added loades red pink ribbons and raffia from my stash.the cherub charm was from the works. I am also entering this into Tim Holtz 12 tags 2012 .
