One Card Few Challenges

Well yesterday i had a full day of crafting and pleased to say got alot of cards completed for my alzhiemers fund Raising which the first one is in 2 weeks so fingers crossed it will be a successful day.

This card i would like to enter into the following challenges ;

Rosie-D's Challenge ;Theme this week is;Carrot,Courgette & a flower.so colour combo with a flower .

Ann's Creative Nook: This is a cute challenge blog i came across abit ago and have decieded to follow.this weeks challenge is a clour combo ,Orange,Black,Purple& green.So my lovely Halloween card hopefully fits this challenge also.

Crafty cardmakers ;Theme this week is autumn

Kaboodle blog;I have just come across another challenge blog i am going to add to my list of ever growing challenges.This weeks challenge is "Spooky"

This is my take on these challenges .The Pumpkin / Cat image is from the lovely Peachy keen stamps,The floral border is from Whiff of Joys fall Kit both images coloured with copics.

The flower is from SU,and the glitter sentiment was made by myself.

hope you like my take on your fab challenges this week.May i just say thanks for all the comments left over the past few days i am planning on getting back to you and blogging in between looking after 2 sick children ,crafting for alzhiemers as first Bazaar nearly hear.Then that think called life that gets in the way...lol

This is my take on winter wonderland challenge.I adore penguins so thaought ideal challenge to use them for .The card is absolutely fab this years release from Kandban,The penguins i received in an RAK ,the sentiment is Magnolia ticket and inks used SUclassic black.

Halloween Birthday Card
I have been realy busy making and creating for a Halloween party .The Trick n Treat bag is image made with die cuts and Scary Door Hanger had been painted in copper acrylic paint then i have made a dracular tag to fix on the front and added couple pumpkins.The card above i have made for my daughters friend who's birthday is on Halloween she is a wee bit gothish so thought this would be great card for her birthday.Gorjuss girls image and coloured with copics.

Tutorial for Christmas Chocci holders

Finished product

I started off using A4 piece good qualtiy card Now you can do it one two ways .
Use A4 piece as it is ,if putting large items in or the version i did. which is below
Measure card it mucst be ;
Take A4 sheet measure as below and cut card to those measurements ands discard the latter never through away !!!!
(crafters keep everything...lol i do!)
Lenght 10"
width 7"
Now you must score the top at 1" then at 3".
The 2nd score line 3"one folds down don't cover this part with paper until finished .
1st score line at 1"fold up.
Next make circle i used woodware punch think 3inch one in same card and also 2 circles in same design paper.The blank piece of card needs covering ,you now cover with whatever d/paper you wish depending if these are for christmas,halloween or /easter as very versitile.should start to look abit like the piccys down below this post .
Next you will need some clear bags i used the card bags with self seal top large ones.Filled bag and the stuck top over & down .I then put under neath the 3in fold hold togther staple these 2 together only from inside.
Last cover your circles in desgin paper to match add an embellishment or whatever you like to middle .Line up and attache double sticky tape across back of circle and stick to middle of top fold.Hope fully should be ready to give .You can if it's for christmas on one side circle i put TO and the other side FROM.
lastly i added chocolate coins whitew but what i did was cut the ingredient tag off the shop bought bag and stuck on the back of holder .Theres so many kids with allergies that felt i was selling them at bazaar would be nice if they could see what was inside thenm just incase i advise this if you are giving to friends or selling at craft fairs .

Holiday Hello's

Well life has been hectic this p[ast fortnight seems ages since i last posted.Some how life gets in the way...lol.I am still not right with my mouth im starting to worry also as my anti-biotics finish tomorrow,im sick of eating mashy ptato and soup....lol and drinking cold coffee!Oh the thought of having a hot cuppa coffee!

Well i have been busy getting ready for the first Alzhiemers Bazaar which is nearly upon me .decorating Candles ,Making loads cards,altering bits n pieces also.

I have also made these cute cards above for a swap i am in on the Swob bot forums these are fantastic if you like swapping giving and receiving.These 2 wee cards i sent in with a holiday ribbon swap.All items used are from SU.

I will be back later on today with the tutorial for the Chocco Gift ideas i made as loads of you have been emailing me for sizes ect .So i will be back to upload later today.

Ive been spending ....

Well i treated myself to yet another craft trolley to hold 12x12 papers .Thought better get another so i can get my craft room sorted .So last night i sat and put together today i have the lovely job of filling it which wont be hard it;s the second bit i dont like the tidying of the craft room.I have 3 trolleys and out of all of them i think this is the best !!!

Thanks to Martine !! for thumbs up on this one .This is one you may have seen on Ebay as they sell them ,but i dont sell on ebay anymore .So i went on there got the email addy and emailed them in my best handwritting...lol and they were fab sent me pay pal invoice and bingo next day arrives on my doorstep by DHL.Service is second to none would higly recommend.

I am busy making cards for my Alzhiemers fund Raising Bazaars im doing, but have taken time out this am to make a card for the whiff of joy appeal for baby Sam.

They are spreading awarness and support for

"Baby Loss Awareness Campaign 2009"this focuses on International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day on October 15th

On Thursday at 7pm it's the Global Wave of Light. To join in if you have suffered a lose all you need to do is light a candle at 7pm in honour of the memory of your child.
There will be millions of candles twinkling across the world for our special babies, it's sad but so magical.

This is something very close to my heart and i have been doing since the loss of my son who was still born at full term(40weeks ).

If it wasnt for SANDS and the help we received counselling we were given i dont think i would have coped .

Morning girls well i have alittle something for you today away of saying sorry ive not blogged much this week and replied to all the lovely comments youve left.This is due to a inconsiderate tooth having an abcess.So im afraid pill popping has been the order of the week,eventually the little tooth got removed and i ended up with abcess still there .Hence the pill popping to relieve the pain and well you could say not on this planet....lol god knows where i was not with it i know that .

Creative Card Crew challenge

Sorry ive not posted before now but something called "Life" got in the way ....lol oh and illness had to take daughter to drs has tonsilitis soon as they go back to school doesnt take long for the grems to bread!Anyway i have been busy this afternoon even if i havent been blogging ,i have managed to do 2 projects this being one and 4 dt cards for my blogs so chuffed with myself .So now for a challenge project;

This week over at Creative Card Crew the challenge is Celebration.So i have made this for a friends 50th birthday .I have altered a note book to match the card also.These papers i adore from Kaiser i am partial to Black and Lime green at the moment.

The Butterflies are 3d although you cant really tell in bottom photo.I have coloured gold peel offs with my black copics as i needed black peel offs to make the card stand out.hadnt got time to go get some .Iam pleased with the way they have turned out.

The front of the book has also 3d butterfly afixed to a coaster which i have covered in

co-ordinating paper.

Cards & Projects made for World Cardmaking Day,Pink Elephant Challenge

Morning all well sunshine and lovely blue sky total opposite to yesterdays grey sky and furrious wind!I have uploaded a couple crafty items made yesterday as i will be off line for while as Hubby needs to do something with the internet.I will upload the others on my return,have agreat Sunday whatever your doing.
Well seen the chocolate yummie holders turned out so well i thought id start and make some for the Halloween PartyI managed to get the holders finished now jut have to buy the goodies to go with each holder.Whilst i was doing this Sophie my eldest daughter designed Trick or Treat bags that i had made a while ago ready the piccy below shows the holders and the goodie bag .Didnt she do well!!!It was nice for a change to have some one to craft with especially as it was special day to craft!Hope you like my World Cardmaking projects and cards . I would like to enter these into the Pink Elephant challenge which this week is colour combo Black, Orange,Purple ,and White especially for Halloween so go take apeek.

Well i managed to get all the yummy christmas chocolate holders finished and full!Even though i had to fight my eldest daughter !!!as they are white chocolate goodies and she's rather partial.These are more items for Alzhiemers fund raising.

Morning all well if you hadn't forgotten it was World Cardmaking Day yesterday and the weather was windy and cold the ideal day to stay and craft.So this is first of many cards/projects that was made yesterday.

Happy World Cardmaking Day....Christmas Yummy Goodies

Yummy Sweetie Holders for Christmas

Well i have been busy making some sweetie holders as you will see above piccy they dont look like much but the finished product is below just so you get the idea .So simple to make yet im hoping that people will buy for christmas as im making these for the various Bazaars im doing for the alzhiemers fund raising .They are so simple and cheap to make But hopefully an eye catcher on the stall for children!!Hope you like? this one has "White Chocolate coins"if my eldest daughter had her way they be just the coin wrappers left!!!!hands off shes rather partial to white chocolate.I have also cut the ingredients and eat by date off the packaging of the coins and stuck to the back of the goodie bag so they can see the details & what it contains ect. Just incase a child is allergic to something added to them as you just dont know.So i think if your thinking of doing anything like this it is good idea to take the tag or label off them and add to back of project .

Morning All October arrives..........and so the temp falls

Well October is her and so for the first time today it feels like Autumn .The indian summer is still well here in away we have the sun and blue sky but my is ity Parky or what ....lol chilly this am i can say that .
