Challenge 19 Trimmcraft Forum

This is my entry to the challenge 19 on Trimmie forum .It has to be something creative not a card.So have been meaning to finish this project i started a while ago and i supose this challenge gave me the push i needed to finish it.It is made from MDF ,sanded,fixed together with wood glue,painted with copper art paint ,and then i added daisy paper and 2 co-ordinating flowers.Then filled it the lid opens upwards and filled with reel of ribbon holds 22 reels.

This Album is for 2 challenges this week over at

The challenge 2 on my http://creativeinspirationschallenge.blogspot.com/ is now live after few problems with the blog .This week it is "thrifty"reduce,reuse,recycle choosen by my DT member ALYSSA.I have used the front cover off an old card the title and 3 flowers,the papers are from a swap on the trimmie forum.The prima flowers and embellishments are from my stash.This is one of the Albums which is from the challenge /swap im hosting on trimcraft forum.I have two to make.

I am still suffering with my tendonitis in my rt hand so unable to do much crafting or washing up...lol.Ihave afew projects i completed before my hand injury so hopefully will upload later tonight.

What A Week!!!

Snow,SNOW and more Snow....thats the week here sick sight of the white stuff.What amazes me britain we should be a shamed at the way we have dealt with the appearence of snow .What happens yes you got it we come to a stand still and hey presto were now told running out of grit!!!Well so much for the weather predicting a bad winter months ago ,plenty of warning but nope we just plod along .Im sure places like Switerland ,Russia even America HAVING RIGHT GOOD LAUGH !have to say i am too...lolWe are Pathertic!moan over.
Well not done any crafting as my faithful right hand is out of order i have tendonitis and boy is it painful,but also have to go A&E as think i may have got fracture also after last fall.But finding it hard amazing how much you miss something that you take for granted,if you could see me one finger typing and left hand at that feels very strange. So have done not a bit of crafting this week even though have few things to get done asap,have an album to upload later which is a friendship Paper Bag Album swap on the trimmie forum.
Oh nearly forgot before i go one more thing.
Only couple of days to get those cards uploaded to challenge site for achance to win some yummy prizes.so go over take alook as creative inspirations blog .

Good Morning Sunday

Well after bit of hectic day yesterday in London today i plan not to do much at all but rest

I have some crafting to do if i can find the energy!

I also have been making a couple of cards .The challenge this week over on Leannes blog is the them of Black and white with one other colour as much or as little as you like .The above card is my entry.The stamped image is a whispers rubber stamp i have just got from Do-crafts online sale for pennies ,the other colour which hasnt come out that well is grey gems on the fluer design these are from prima.This size card im into at the moment ,it is scordeed down the side same as the green one ,the backing paper is from some new stash i received from Crafts U Love January sale ,the ribbon was some i had in my own stash. http://charismacardz.blogspot.com/

The other card is happy birthday card(have now stuck the banner down lol thought id go into spring even though where forecast 5cms snow today temp is -6 with that cold wind.So on that note think i will stay in and have restful day well thats what Sundays are for !

Morning Thursday

Well sorry i havent posted much ive been bit stressed and otherwise engaged .My Daughter got assaulted on the school bus by another girl so had to deal with that.

Trying inbetween everything to finish friendship album for the swap on trimmie i have 2 to do so have to get on with that.

Ichoose this card as sometimes simple and elegant is all you need .Hope you like my choice .

Well i still have a few more cards to go so keeping me out mischeif ...lol thats when im not suffering from these headaches which are now starting to get me down big time.But then after last nite sat watching tv before retired to bed o/h not well he was in bed ,the girls sound asleep too .So all alone with the remote WOW now that doesnt happen often.I turned on to Jade's Story my god i admire that girl what she is going through and still working the reason to save as much for her children's future .Last nite it showed her waking up without her hair after her therapy .I just sat here thinking how lucky i am even though i have Me/cfs & fibro i have my life to live for .Jade on the other hand is living one day at atime not moaning and working hard for her boys .It surely made me think and be thankfull it's just a headache.My heart goes out to her she is so positive and i wish her all the luck in the world she has two lovely boys and her whole life ahead of her.It really does make you think how lucky i am .

Special Friend Card,Greentextured card with backing papers used from K&CO,Prima flowers and small green brads from making MemoriesThe wee fairy is made from fimo attached with sticky pad.

This card is made using the free stamp set of 6 with Cardmaking & Papercraft this month issue62 the 2 stamps i used are the flower border stamps and the love birds.Backing paper used is DCVW and and green cardstock is Bazzil .The stamped images are stuckwith d/s tape and pads,flower and brads from prima.

Quick Card Using Free Stamps

Well my magazine came popping throught the door on tuesdat couldnt wait to get started.This month with Caedmaking & Paper crafts theres a lovely set of free clear stamps on the theme "spring"So just had to have ago havent been well still suffering with these headaches ,but thought go sit at desk may forget about them if minds occupied ,it's alright rest ,but after 3 days you start to become board.

So here is my creation i have used 2 of the free stamps the flower border which i love and the love birds.Im not that pleased the way it came out at all, .So hear goes but would love to know whay you think?hope you like it .

Thanks for my lovely stamps Ann.Now no excuse not to keep to my new years resolution up that was to make 2 christmas cards aweek for my 2009 collection!

Well it's friday yet again this week seems to have gone so fast and yet havent done muchapart from looking after my sick youngest daughter .Who has managed to catch the dread flu bug we all had over christmas.Went to the DRs due to my headaches and found i have high blood pressure OMG never before have i had this the headaches and dizziness something else.So rest is in order as not been given medication.So did alittle crafting and have made some Atc's,as yet not uploaded.Well hope youve all had good week and enjoy your weekeend.
Im not planning much gonna take it easy then hopefully these headaches will go as fast as they arrived!!...lol .

Happy Birthday To ME!

Well yes it' happy birthday boy now i do feel 21!!!twice lol.Well today have nothing planned so going to have a nice relaxing day,maybe do nothing, maybe play with all my wee crafting goodies and boy i got quiet alot,as well as money,jewellery,weekend bag (just need the weekend away to use it hint hint to o/h)

Marie Curie Card Donations 2009

Well my campaign is under way to make cards for this great campaign.I did last year this year i want to try and beat last years record of 45 in the box so all help is greatly received.I have the card bags for them and will be sending the box in mid april plenty of time for deadline.if youd like to donate to the box then leave your name i will contact you with details .It is such a worth while cause and all donations of these cards sold will go to help families in need ,of macmillan nurses ,working in this field of nursing i have seen the good work they do and the results it has on families and there clients.

Good Morning Sunday....ME/CFS/FIBRO

Well touch wood i am starting to feel alittle better ,so hopefully i will add the Birthday blogg candy today which will run into Next year !!boy that sounds weird but hey not far away.This past week well ive not done any crafting infact done nothing but sleep!Thankyou to everyone for there kind wishes and cards much appreciated as you do feel very low at times when you havent the energy and in so much pain.ME/CFS is such a horrible illness to have many of you have asked what it is?So i shall explain alittle.
ME short for Myalgic encephalopathy(now you can see why we just say ME...lol.CFSis known for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome,FIBRO is Fibromyalgia .
All types of people young & old any age can be effected by ;Servere Fatigue,Painful muscles & joints,uncontrolable temperature,nausea,poor concentration,headaches,poor memory known as brain fog,balance problems hence my falls,complete and total exhaustion,muscle twitching mainly for me alot in my eyes,more prone to reaction to drugs,hair loss.
It robs you of normal daily activities.Dibilitating and it does destroy your quality of life,you can never stop fighting it.
One barrier i think most suffers have come into contact with is discrimmination and ignorance.Basically one thing i have found since being diagnosed with this since 2006 is you find out who your friends are,and who you thought where friends you hear them say shes just lazy!!ignorance comes to mind !I contacted this illness after surgery and contacting an infection in my wound.It is said that it can be aresult of viral infection,trauma(having ababy this must be so arwful as not only you feel fatigued and suffer these effects but you have a baby to deal with,this happened to my parents friends daughter,they are bringing up the baby at the moment) .It is hard enough on my daughters even though they are great carers ,and my hubby,but a baby that needs your full attention as they cant fend for themselves must be an even worse senareo.
I hope that this helps to bring alittle insight into this disability as basically that is what it is.A daily task such as getting up having a wash,to me that is a major task and exhausting or even emptying the washer.So one thing i ask don't judge people suffering from this arwful illness as lazy as we certainly cant help it!wouldnt wish it on anyone.

Well as for the pending holidays I am soooooooo behind with my christmas preparations and well have lot to do before they all break up for the holidays this week, but i know i cant rush back to things i need to pace myself slowly.I couldnt do that without the fantastic help of my o/h and my two lovely girls,as guilt is one thing i suffer alot the fact i miss out on things with my daughters,but they understand this now we make up other ways.
