Dt post for It's Crafting Time

My Dt project this week i have created a Steampunk creation.I have used Wendy Vecchi's art Parts made into a small frame.I distressed the parts with Antique Linen.I have used old Paper from a Dictionary to cover the centre and also distressed that.The image used is from Denzinaworld where images are Free/ Or Small Donation.I have added glossy accents to his hat to give depth and 3d look.Stamped out the clock background using a free stamp from a magazine in Archival /black,then distressed the edges with Antique Linen,Covered with a clock charm from my stash.I have added Computer generated sentiment"Time Waits For No Man"
Which is distressed with antique linen also.The metal Filigree corners are from the Funkie Junkie shop.Tim Holtz ideology clasp and chain and sprogats.The large key also is from my own stash.The letters are peel offs which were silver,but i have altered with
with copper Alcohol inks.

For Your Eyes Only

Good Morning on this wet damp drizzly Norfolk!Today i have a tag to show you which i have done for Hel's Sunday Stampers which this week the theme is Eyes ,but also incorporated Simon Stamp &show challenge which this week id dong Title .My title is "For Your Eyes Only"james bond movie sung by i think Sheena Easton.

I have took the route of steampunk for my tag i have distressed the Tim holtz die cut tag with Gathered twigs and vintage photo.I have used a beautiful image from the lovely June's blog HERE.
I have added another of June's lovely images the face mask but added Tim Holtz pin so it looks like a hand mask with bow on.Added some wire netting,i have used the free stamp from a Craft Stamper mag to stamp the flower out on newspaper,cut out and added glossy accents and floral brad to centre.The Brads holding the netting are also Tim Holtz.The sentiment is computer generated.Thebow is papermania.

Hope you all have lovely day thanks so much for all the lovely comments on my altered gravy pot.Also the stamp folder i made from recycled hardboard they are much appreciated.

Dt Post for It's Crafting Time..Recycled Stamping Folder

Good Morning Monday sure is a cold frosty one here in Norfolk.Today is my first creation for Dt post over at It's Crafting Time.This week is a sketch made by the lovely Pina.I have used the sketch and rotated it for the fornt of my creation.Which is another folder to keep my Tim Holtz ,Crafty Individual stamps in. Now i have created this as many of you who know me i hate throwing anything out .So i have used some hardboard from the large envelopes someone sent me .
I have cut to the size that i required leaving little index corner at the top of both pieces .I have added 3 holes with my Big bite as i will be holding this together with jump rings.
After cutting out i then sanded all edges down so they were all smooth.I have used papers from my stash for the front im unsure who these gorgeous papers our from.Ive had them in my crafty stash for sometime you know the ones we lush about rather than use..lol.For the back and inside ive used Bo-bunny "EtCetera Collection"I have used scor pal tape to stick down all papers as i adore this stuff and sure it wont come off at anytime.As this will be a well used folder once completed.

I then distressed all edges using Ranger Distress Inks.
In vintage photo,Gathered Twigs.I added the lace to the hession and fixed that to the front cover .(Do this before adding decorative paper to inside as this way covers the edgingup).
I then distressed my die cut and small doilie using the inks as above.For the Title i used Grunge board letters .(from the seasonal set.)
Inked those using the same distress inks then added Inkssentials Glossy Accents to the letters,let those dry naturaly.I then went onto make the lace flower cut a strip of lace depending on length depends one the size of the flower you want to end up with.For this i only wanted a small one .Along the top of the lace use a running stitch pulling slingtly as you go so it starts to ruffle.Then when you get to the desired shape finish off by sewing the middle of the flower together.I have then distressed a wooden Button in vintage photo ink.
I have added this to the center of the lace flower with a length of twine.

Once the letters are dry i then Distressed some scrabble tiles with Gathered Twigs Distress ink
I cut some corragated card and distressed that the same but then added Tattered Angel Glimmer mist Latte to give a bit of a glimmer to.
Now i stuck the letters down to the card except the "S" at the beginning and end these i stuck onto the tiles to get some dimmension.To finish off i added pearls from my stash in cream and brown.The top i added beautiful metal lock which i wanted to age abit so i followed Tim Holtz altered metal wth paint technique which i use alot.I used Arondack snow cap dabber
applied directly over the metal charm in all the wee edges ,before the paint dries simply wipe excess off with a cloth,until the desired look you want appears .I then added some distress ink vintage photo on top in some areas to get the finished oldy look.


For the inside cover i distressed round the edges using the smae 2 inks.Then i used distress stain in Walnut and splatted randomly on the page to get the desired effect i wanted .This is the inside front cover whihc will be the index.The letters are grunge and covered in distressed vintage photo ink,once dried wither with heat gun or left i added glossy Accents.

for the back cover same as the inside except this time i added some stamped sentiments from Artistic Stamper in distress inks Gathered Twigs from the Autumn seasonal set.

I then added a quote from the bo -bunny paper set i used and distressed edges ,then added glossy accents to the wording .Leave to set.You can if you want to add fibers or ribbons to the jump rings but i like mine left plain on this occassion.

Then you can either fill with plastic sheets to hold your stamps or just use the card they come on.I had some Tim Holtz sleeves left so thats what ive used .I am entering this into this weeks Simon Says Stamp & Show : Anything but a card.

I hope you like my recycled folder for stamps ,i actual fact you could make a folder like this to hold your metal dies instead of plastic sheets use magnetic.

Tags,Tags,Tags Challenge 12 Funkie Junkie Tag11,Simon says Stamp and Show and Sunday Stampers

Good Morning Monday on this fodgie damp morning.Today i have some tags to show you.Yes i have finaly caught up with the Funkie Junkie Challenge 12 Tags for Christmas here is my Tag11.

I was inspired by Linda's tag and thought about time i got my masks out after seeing her beautiful creation Here.So iused Tim Holtz tag Movers and shapers die.Then masked santa also from Tim Holtz sheet.Distressed all over with Gathered Twigs distress ink and also picket fence stain.I then filled the masked area with ranger stickles rock candy.Then added some Prima flowers and Roses sprayed those with tattered angels glimmer mist "Pearl".Ribbon os Papermainia gold with burgundy Happy Christmas on .Then i stamped Naughty or nice stamp whihc i got as freebie from a magazine can't remeber which mag.But the set of stamps which are all sentiments ive used so much this christmas.I have stamped in D/I Gathered twigs.Made atag out of corragated card sprayed with glimmer mist pearl again fixed underneath the flowers.The small wee gold metal charms in the corners are from Linda's ESTY Shop HERE .Worth alook as she has a sale on until end November.Ithen added the Tim Holtz charm Jingle to the ribbon at the top of my tag.Thats my tag 11 can't believe it's nearly all over .Thanks Linda for all the inspiration and challenging my creativeness.

Now onto tag 2 which is for a Novembers tag swap.But also im entering it into this weeks Simon Says Stamp and Show as the theme is Tickets.You have to show tickets on your

creation.I have used again the T/Holtz tag die covered in the lush Distress ink"Festive Berries"I then used a snowflake stamp and inked with Picket fence stain ,stamped randomly over the tag.Let dry then i fixed my T/Holtz birdcage die with a SU vinatge brad to the tag.I have used distress inks on the cage .I then coloured the bird with copics and added red stickles to his breast to look like robin.Flowers are prima the leaf from my stash i sprayed with Tattered angel glimmer spray "Pearl"I then cut a tag from my T/H die and stamped merry christmas in Festive berries distress ink. The brown and red pearls are from Kaiser kraft.

This fianl tag for today i am entering into Hels Challenge The Sunday Stampers .

This weeks theme is "Snowmen".So i have used distress stains faded Jeans and picket fence
to cover the tag (which again is t/Holtz die)Masked the snowman which is from the sheet by Tim Holtz .Stamped the snowflake stamp randomly over the tag in Picket fence stain.Sprayed with tattered Angels Glimmer mist "Pearl"Left the tag to dry.Then got the spray of holly and berries wraped in white lace and fixed to the tag this sprig i think was from prima last year.I added ideology christmas chain and token ehihc has "J" for Jingle.At the bottom left hand corner added a glass fragment to one snowflake whihc i embossed.Unfortunately photo doesnt show that up to well

So there you have it for today.Iam busy making gift boxes and decorating jars to hold sweets/candy for my daughters friends for christmas .So i shall say toodle peeps have a great Monday

This tag is the last of the back log i had to make to get upto date with Linda.Now the title above the piccy will tag you to Linda's tag over at the Funkie Junkie .

Now i have drawn my inspiration off the black Flower yes black flower and combined my inspiration from that to create this tag.

Stamp used ive had this for ages unfortunately unsure who's it is.So if anyone can shed any light on id be grateful .Such a lovely verse.

I have stamped that onto a Wendi Vecchi art part studio 490..ATC Art.

SU:snowflake stamp & Postcard stamp in Black soot for the background.

The Ribbons,Bow &snowflake ,and star pearl bead from my craft stash.

Prima :jet Black Flower.

Well i love the colour combo and never would have thought of using this on tag ,but im sure gonna try and use this same design on Christmas Card.All thanks to Linda over

If it wasnt forher i think id still be stuck in the mojoless mood for christmas.Instead ive found inspiration from this challenge and now on a roll to get all my Crimbo handmade items done!Now if your lacking the inspiration to get a grip with christmas why not take alook at the challenge and join in!If i can anyone can...lol.I am also entering this into Simon Says Stamp And Show Challenge This weeks theme is Wendi Vecchi style so i am hoping this counts!Now my last piccy is of all my 4 tags ive made for this fab Christmas Challenge.It has inspired me to cut loads of tags even for the Tim Holtz 12 days christmas ...yep already...lol.HYow's that for someone who hadnt a Chrsitmas mojo in her body a few weeks ago...

One Tag 4 Challenges

gosh it seems long time since i uploaded a creation and yes it is blimey few weeks.Not for the want of trying but for the want of my Mojo to return.Still it is know where near what it was.I started this tag before i went to Dads last week and have finished off last night.

I have used distress inks ,ranger inks and swipped on craft sheet added splodge /splash water from mister bit of tattered angels glimmer misted .The swiped the manilla tag across the sheet to get the distress look..I then stamped in cocoa onto Su stamp "Sanded".I then used T/Holtz die cut bird cage and distressed that added gems and the bird from prima along with the flower which i distressed edges.Added some edging along the bottom with cute pearl button.

Here you will find some fab techniques and up and coming products.
