Woyww ....Tags with birdcages...

Morning welcome to WOYWW this week .Well i havent been doing much .Apart from trying to catalogue my free stamps from craft sramper and ones sent from craftyindividuals.This way i hope to get to use them more often and know what types ive got.So im just stamped them onto card for the moment and am making folder to put them in.

Im afraid my comp crashed in high winds and loss of power.so have added this to flash drive got them to upload for me .As i wanted to show off the Birdcage tags swap that Frankie set up .Big thanks to Frankie!

I am also suffering with my other eye and think have optic neurisis in that eye again so off to docs by the time you read this.Another good thing why i havent got comp that would make my eyes worse.

This is the beautiful Birdcage tag i received from the lovely Jen .

Thankyou so much it's gorgeous and will have to pin on my craftroom pin board .Shows off all other crafty creations sent to me or created by me.

Now this Birdcage and the swirl at the top i havent stopped stroking it.

Sad aint it!the feel is well lush .please Jen you must let me know how you got that smooth lush

Grungy Monday Challenge....21

Finaly got round to getting my creation finished for the challenge over at Grungy Monday.

This is my altered Daily Journal.

I have made this for a friend as a gift do hope she likes it as much as i have enjoyed creating it.

I have used the fabulous brand new release papers from Bo Bunny set

I have distressed the papers with Vintage photo,Rusty Hinge,Frayed Burlap.Also added Tim To bind the book i used Holtz tissue tape distressed this with vintage photo.
I used my idewology fragment and added latte,sandal and brushed corduroy to the fragment.Then added blending solution so that a gap would appear where it says underneith .Just a friendly reminder.I have tried to get better photo but light is not good today very drab!
I have added chipboard swirl and distressed with vintage photo added pearl.
I have stamped with clear distress ebossing ink stamp from time holtz collection and then ebossed with copper ultra thick embossing powder,heated with a gun.

The back of the book i again distressed.Stamped butterfly stamp cut out distressed then added Glossy accents two curled the corners of the wings up as drying.Then added 3 gems to the centre of the body
Then added a Crafty individuals Life's Journey square to stampboard covered the edges with tissue tape and distressed.Added button with cottonthread to finish.
The sentiment on the back again another Tim Holtz stamp inArchival plum ink.

I hope you like my creation sorry for the nt so good photos but very dull drab and windyn cold here today.Well and truly summer is over the dark nights are upon us with the september winds!The joy of autumn/Winter...lol
Well least gives me more crafting time.

Woyww.......Tidy Waiting To Be Made Messy....

Good morning all hope your all well and busy creating.Well this weather is ideal as like winter here in Norfolk past couple days wet and very windy causing trees to block roads...not nice .

Well the girls return to school today and if it wasnt for my friend they wouldnt be going.Why ?you ask as the council have had months to sort out bus passes but nope have they .So have spent since last wednesday trying to get through.Apparently temporary ones are in the post....Gosh not sure where there coming from sure must be o snail mail!

Anyways onto this mornings desk.The task in hand is to to go right round the world looking at fellow craft desks .Seeing What our crafting buddies have been upto .It's great really as you sit here on this miserable day having fun all thanks to our big boss Julia who invented this marvelloes wednesday morning ritual!So pop by here blog HERE join in too.Make new buddies ,get inspired,Have fab fun Wednesdayall from your own home!

A wee bit tidy for me thats me saying it!...lol Well yesterday inbetween the phone calls re bus passes .I managed to make a tag for the Sunday Stampers Challenge over at Hels Blog

So nothing really on my desk it's so clean and tidy must have had a few mad moments
and cleaned away yesterday after finishing my tag...lol doesnt happen often .
Now the piccy below is of a lovely we shelf i came across in a charity shop last thursday.The bargain price of £1.50 .So i have of course filled it with my distress stains and some of my inks pads i use the most /or regularly.
So what you think?Here's the delema do i alter it or keep it as is?Please i would love to know your opinions. ??

Lastly some goodies arrived in the post for me this week .Some lovely stamps from Andy Skinners New release,a gorgeous stamp from La Blanche ive never used these before was surprised when i opened it up as it is white plastic/foam.So will have to see how it stamps.
Also crafty individuals 4 wee piccys of London stamps.So im hoping that i will get chance to play today once the girls gone to school done couple jobs then crafting time!
And of course my journey around the world to see all those lovely desks ,see what youve been upto!

Sunday Stampers ......Loveeeee

Over at Sunday Stampers the lovely creative Hels Blog this weeks theme is :
Love

For a change I went with blues instead of the traditional Reds.

I used manila luggage tag,and covered it in Kaiser kraft Antique line paint

I then got my ohhhh so lush distress stains out and well went smoochy ,inky and creative on my craft sheet .With picket fence,broken China &weathered wood,dash splash of faded jeans.

I smooched the tag then dried with heat gun and continued the process until i had the colour and design i was happy with.

I then painted the wings from the tim holtz set of grunge mixed minis.Then added picket fence dried with heat gun repeated this again the got my saqurs clear pen around the edges and added Glamour dust to the wings .Whihc doesnt seem to show in photo very well.Tried to take closs up all got was bling blurr...lolI then stamped Tim Holtsz phrases from the Stuff to say set with
black Archival ink.
I then made a garland using flowers leaves i had from my stash .Sprayed with tattered Angels glimmer spray,along with some stickles to give the edges of the flowers a bit of shine & Bling.
I then added the Love tile to the centre of this and stuck the whole spray onto the bottom of the tag.
I added a beautiful cameo that ive had in my stash for ages.You know the one you take out stroke it ,look at it nope cant use that too nice .Well this time i have used it ..lol
Even though i say my self does go nicely with the tag.
Added chain from iderology collection to thats added some round beads
and the beautiful blue heart bead.

The ribbon i died with distress stains to co-ordinate with the tag.

So here's my entry

I have altered this A5 book actually for a swap im doing.

I first of all covered the book with the lovely Thorndon Hall Papers just cant get enough of these they are lush! Available Here.

also used Tim Holtz Tissue tape.

I then distressed the covers with Rusty hinge,Barn Door & Spiced Marmalade.

I then covered the grunge letters with gesso and again distressed those and added Glossy accents to each letter to get a shine.

The sentiments are all Tim holtz stamps,stamped distress embeoosing clearink .The used ultra copper embossing powder ,heated with gun.

The domino i altered and added vintage image and crackle paint tpo get the effect,distressed with vintage photo. The flower & leaf ive also added glossy accents to to give a wee shine.

The cameo charm was from my own stash and also the back cover pen stickers.

Woyww 116....Twilight

Well it's wednesday already!Where does the time go ?The girls are back next wednesday to school,well thats if the bus passes arrive knowing last year it was december before they arrived Suffolk C/Council never seem to be organised.

First of all i should have uploaded the above piccy when i received the altered matchbox swap that Neil Walker arranged on Woyww.Above piccy shows the gorgeous box i received from Neil himself How lucky am i!!!I absolutely love this and the domino book so cute!Thanks Neil although did email him to thank him when it arrived.
Now onto my desk ...well this is what it looks like this morning.The piccy below shows the right of my desk.There you can see the altered book i had started last week ,and have nearly finished ,it's sat drying as i completed yesterday just needs tweeking.Also i have started to alter a blank book/box these come in sets of twos this is the smaller of the 2.on top of larger one.Sat drying after yesterdays craft session

Now to the left of me are some items i used yesterday on my daughters twilight canvas.

Some charms that need putting in the box ,Tag nearly finished need to add some gems ,the corner of a black canvass my 14yr old is now doing.All holidays chooses the last week to start and craft!sounds right..lol

There you go the canvass distressed with black soot ,and dryed awaitng my daughter to complete .im sure it will be another twilight one for her room!R Patz mad she is counting the days till new dawn premiers ....i just agree as don't intrest me a bit ,but i do know some of you ae twilight fans so i thought id show you the lovely red canvass collage i did for her room yesterday.Which i think has encouraged her to have ago !


"TWILIGHT CANVASS"

I used distress stains to cover the canvass.These canvasses are flat best buy brand new pack 3 from charity shop.I seem to think ive mentioned them before but i got from Sue Ryder shop.

I have added a tag distressed and used T/Hooltz stamp on home made flower distressed the edges.The owl stamped coloured cut out of canvass.Added twilight ATC size with stickles red ie blood.Bottle cap with R/patz photo on top added beeswax to get stunning effect love this technique just doesnt show well in photo.Some of the papers used are from an RAK .This pad is absolutely Lush ideal for any Twilighht fan made by DCWV.
Below is close up of tag and rt side of canvass.The charm wander is sat on a black lace flower whihc recently i have been making.Small metal frame with title twilight in .The butterfly wing was my daughters fav hair clip but it broke and she didnt want to chuck so have used that also added few more black stones and key charm and crystal leaf.,

Left side of canvass shows the bottle cap abit clearer although the flash light bounced off it.The metal love is large brad ive had for years never used.The apple i have used rock candy on to give better effect.Distressed the edges of photo with old paper.
I have added clips and chain to the back so she can use as wall hanging.

She was over the New Moon with it!...lol

Anyways hope you all have fab wedensday will try and get round you all.As last week had trouble on a few leaving messages so hopefully this week blogger behaving.

Lastly im having clearout of items i have got two of or even 3!yep so take alook HERE as i have and will be uploading items for sale all day to day.From stamps to mists ,paints promarker sets all new

London Tag.....Travel

Morning all well past few days since the weather has been rather nasty shall we say .Ive managed to get some crafting done and have entered this tag into a couple of challenges.

I have used Tim Holtz Tag die ,Covered with Morton Hall Papers whihc are lush and will have to buy more!Distressed using Brushed Corduroy,Vinatge photo.

I have used the beautiful stamp set from Andy Skinner Creative Journey and stamped in

Archival ink Plum,Archival black,Stampabilities post mark in archival black.

I have used my dinamo to create the London Title and added metal frame whihc was lovely gift in an RAK.
To finish off have added fibers and rusty old key

Well sure do hope that the weather improves here for the bank Holiday weekend.

Something tells me not.

I shall be back later with some ATC's and a piccy of the wonderful matchbox i recieved from Neil Walker in the Matchbox swap he arranged via Woyww.

WOYWW 116......BEEN A WHILE BUT IM BACK!

Good morning seems ages since i joined in with WOYWW.

Well the piccy's above show you my desk as it stands today .Yesterday was the first time i was able to craft and am at present altering dominos for a swap im doing.Im altering them with some beautiful vintage piccys that are made by Crafty individuals especially for domino's .Have to say they are lush! Then adding various techniques and mediums to them.Also on my desk is a tag that is drying will show more once it's finished.
Also on my desk i was busy sorting out all my charms trinkets and ideology bits and have now got the lovely wooden box i created and altered plus had to use this brown one and as you see from the below piccy nealy full too.so me thinks i should get using some instead of buying anymore...lol

Below is a piccy that shows an altered journal whihc i have just covered and distressed and is awaitng to be finished ,thats when i get round to it.

Well it's nice to get back and can't wait to snoop may not get round you all today as sooo late i forgot it was wednesday where do the days go.

WOYWW.....Not A Lot...

Woyww ...gosh it's wednesday again seems to come round so fast.Yes we are actually having a Heatwave here in Suffolk.UK.....Yes dont faint but it was 85 yesterday ...yipeee...Lurve it but don't get me wrong just wish it would cool down at night!

Thats why im abit later than normal as had rubbish night with the heat over slept for hubby getting up....So if youd like to have your wednesday snoop around everyones desk well pop by the Bossess Desk get all the deets from Julia Here

Well i shall be honest my desk im half way through clearing up after making this tag.As im away from sat and wanted to come back to a clear workspace .The other reason my Stamp Magazine dropped through my letterbox last Thursday and havent had my nose out of it since.Are Crafty mate Hels has again excelled in the beautiful Stamp Storage....love it hunni!So with the Mag,my daughter tidying her room (as she had no clothes left)all in big mound on the floor ...washing,washing more washing....havent had much time to sit at my desk.Plus im back to drs tomorrow as my cavity where i had my tooth out nearly 2 weeks ago isnt healing me thinks still abcess so off to visit them .As i dont really want to suffer next week when im going to look after dad.

I have used my fav Distress ink colours on this tag.Wild honey,dried Marigold,Barn Door,Spiced Marmalade ,Black Soot.The stamps ive used are Tim Holtz and also the wee Bird is SU from Punch Potpourri set.Also the birds are from Andy skinner Set.
I have added some Ideology bits to the tag along with a black key from my stash and a brad.Wee pearl for the blackbirds eye.
I hope your all making the most of the lovely Sunshine.Anyone on hols in uk should be having fab time toowith this heat!Have alovely creative week im away next week so see you when i return
