WOYWW>>>>139..A Lot Of A Mess!

Good Morning to all on this cold frosty -6 freezing Norfolk.Im hoping today to get round most of you again, for the exception of the white pages. But if you see the post previous to Julia's woyww post theres alink to correct this .But you can only correct if yours is the one that it is happening to.Anyway yes it's Wednesday again and the 1st Feb!so time to peek at all the lovelieness on those craft desks all around the world so go stop bt Julia's blog to join in.

In the above picture the centre of my craft desk you will see im working on those book boxes that have been sat collecting dust.Along with those to bottom right is an altered matchbox you can see all deets in previous post. The piccy below is the push to the right of my desk...lol
Bag beads, distress inks & stains,scor- pal tape which i loveee so strong and easy to move once adhered. Some images from 2 weeks ago that i was using on my matchbox, not yet put away.
Below is the push to the left. Some altered art parts hearts, grunge cherub, prima birds, timmie Holtz tape

Thought i would just show you in the below photo that i am using my Stamp folder i made you can see all deets about 3posts down.So i found time to sort through some of my stamps. But CHA well Tim Holtz new releases have well kept me busy.OH hehas been busy designing.MY bank manager and hubby wont be pleased on the other hand ...tough ...i need those distress makrers, ideology, just acouple dies one being the matchbox,oh and of course anything that falls in the basket whilst shopping .Thats once they arrive in the shops i do believe he is on QVC on 21st Feb!!!! Cant wait for Vol 2 of Compendium of Curiosities to come my way either ....like a child in a sweetie shop.....

These are some bits hiding some dt projects which have finished and will see over the next coming weeks.
Hope your al well and been creating. Those not feeling too good improve during the week so many colds about and bugs.OH talking of bugs my daughter is still off last friday went for bloods have to go back at 10.30am to see dr had phone call ,some bloods need to be re done along with others as they arent happy with them.Do feel sorry for her and some how doubt if she will return to school this side of hlaf term as they break up on the 9th which week thurs i think

Tell her not to rush back to school too soon :-)
I'm just doing a quick dash round to see what everyone is up to this week before my daughter comes out with the twins. We are doing a fitting for her Wedding dress and making a start with the Wedding invites....I can see a busy day ahead of me :-)

Hello Jude, hope you do manage to get some rest today, it seems like you and your daughter both need it. Your 'push to the sides' are far more interesting than mine are and enjoy the new Timmy stuff when it arrives. Hope all goes well for your daughter and that you all have a better week. Thanks for being so quick and popping in early to comment. Elizabeth x #78

That's a lovely 'creative' pile of stuff. I really like all the hearts and other Valentine bits and pieces in the last pic - I'm a sucker for anything heart shaped!!

I hate colds, but they dont seem to be contained to winter here, for some reason I have a cold in summer, can you believe that? As for your comment on my WOYWW, you cannot believe how many flowers I use, I dont post up a lot of my work that I give away so those flowers never pile up

Make sure your daughter is fully rev=covered before he goes back to school. She can always have work sent home if she is up to that, but if she goes back too soon, she will be liable to pick up every bug flying around everyone else. If the school complains, tell them that the health of your daughter is more important than ticking a few boxes on attendance. Hope your back soon improves - probably made worse by sitting on hospital chairs in draughty waiting rooms. I love that little book, it looks so pretty inside too. Take care of yourselves. xx Maggie #112

Another week won't do your poor daughter any harm, there are so many bugs about at school at the minute it would be awful for her to catch anything going back too soon wouldn't it.
Your have so many lovely things on your desk. I know just what you mean about the new TH goodies. I have my eye on some of those new dies, yummy!!

Not a mess Jude, just a creative disarray!

It must be so frustrating for you still not know exactly what’s wrong with your daughter so I hope that this lot of bloods can pin point the problem so the doctors can start to get her on the mend.

I’m glad your stamp folders are working out. I’ve still not done anything about sorting out mine yet…….one day, may be.

Happy Crafting!

Agree with you re all the CHA releases.. So exciting! You asked about the Bluewater show, it's a new event centre actually in the mall. Just near the cinema area it's called the glow events centre and there are signposts everywhere so not hard to find. They have only had 3 events here it just opened before Xmas. There are food shows and all sorts coming up. Good addition to the mall.

Love the stamp folder and lucky you getting to spend on the gorgeous Tim's new stuff. Haven't seen much of it yet but I will have to have a good browse round.

Lovely to see your crafty mess as that means you've been busy doing stuff and playing again! Although sorry to hear you're in a bit of pain at the mo, and your daughter still has to have more blood taken, ugh, I don't think I;d be sending her back this side of half term, even if she's getting better. It will still take time for a full recovery and you don't want a relapse. Have a wonderful weekend.

Hello Jude, many thanks for your comment this week ... the idea for the flower did come from seeing the late Sarah Lawrence's beautiful examples in last month's Craft Stamper ... here, hearts, however, were stamped rather than punched. Elizabeth x
