Gentlemen Never Wear Brown In London

Grungy Monday Challenge 39 this week we are following:

This is such clever and fun technique with Alcohol inks!So click the link above to take you there.Again they have the wonderful Simon Says Stamp as the Sponsor .

So here's my entry!

I have used Tim Holtz tag and as i call it Charlie Chaplin dies.Have cut both from hardboard.

I then got some SU glossy Card Stock and with the help of Alcohol inks ,Caramel,Gold,Latte,Aqua, and Mixative pearl .I made the backing paper.I then stamped images in Black Archival ink fromCreative Journey stamps "Gentlemen Never Wear Brown in London quote. And the scene of the London eye and houses of parliment onto the tag.
I then covered the charlie man die in copper alcohol inks. For the umberella used the mosaic technique and around that i used Ultra thick mica embossing powder copper.

As i am also following Tims 12 Tags for 2012 this will also be my March entry.

I then stamped the carnaby street sign from the same set and layered onto Stampin up brown cardstock the same as the tag .To finish i found these lovely flowers whilst clearing out from prima and the brown seam binding is also from my stash.

I am also entering this in over at the Artistic Stamper March Challenge the theme this month for March is "Travel"
Hope you like my creations please pop by love to hear what you think !

Have fab day

hugs

Beautiful and I love the effect of the embossing on the umbrella.
Sadly Jude, my apple tree was almost finished last year and in 2010 (blossom photo) all the limbs behind the blossom were dead and it just got worse. It was a danger that they might have fallen and hurt the children. So sad.
Love JoZarty x

Your tag is awesome. I especially like the depth of it, it looks like a moment in time caught on your tag!
