Woyww..148...lots altered art and some new pens me spot

Woyww 148

Welcome to another wedensday except the weather is totaly different from the heat wave we had last week. But dont dispare it maybe raining/s;eet time to catch up on the crafting whilst we were all busy enjoying the sun.So time for our wednesday Whizz round the crafty desks of the world thanks to the lovely Julia pop by her blog and join in this addictive wednesday ritual!

This is my desk as it was this afternoon when i got back from the desntist ,yes another trip to get the other half of the root and nerve out .Wasnt so bad only in chair 45 mins of tugging that must be my record. Then was Sophie's turn well thats another story more like 45 mins to get in the chair ..lolSo my crafty table this weekwell yes my distress markers and my wee colour sheet stillcouple missing colours but got the main ones i wanted .Some altered journals in the making and the new Tim holtz die.....

Lot of use that die will be to me as sad day yesterday :(Mr V Vagabond died yep will not move or motor so gonna change fuse an check simple things in the morning fingers crossed it works.I got minme last August to be honest used 12 times nopt used since before christmas and was running fine.I thought is been so lucky as so many were being returned when i had mine .So if cant fix them will get on to supplier and see what they say wish me luck !

So in mean time gonna have to dust down the old pink /black big shot and do some dies if cant get sorted myself.Well not much crafting going on as if wasnt sat garden going round looking for diesel/petrol as the Wonderful Goverment put willies up all and sundry so theres shortage of fuel .....Foe all who dont know who i am talking about the piccy at the top explains him...lol.

Well have agood wednesday and a lovely Easter now not too much chocolate girls remember minute in your mouth life time on your Hips!

love n hugs

I have heard so many BAD things about that die cutter. Last week, I used a Big shot with my friend and other than having to hand crank it, I can't see why anyone would need that automatic thing. Sorry to hear about yours. I would DEFINITELY contact the manufacturer if changing the fuse doesn't help.

Have a great week, hopefully without the fear of a dental appointment in the offing (grin). Happy WOYWW AND Happy Easter from #6.

ohooo i hope it isn't broken, I've had my bigshot for four/five years now, and I put everything through it, and I haven't got the right plates, but it still rolls on..(touch wood!) Have a great crafty week!

Well that's a bit frustrating, I hope Mr. V gets better . . . and the whole petrol thing, read about that elsewhere, what a mess!

Your family picture in your sidebar, by the way--adorable!!!

Happy Easter to you,

Love the journals - very cool. Shame about the VB, if they carry on breaking down as often as this I can see them being withdrawn. I only have a handful of dies so will make do with my Cuttlebug for now.

Hope that treatment means your teeth will be well enough for you to nibble the odd bit of Easter choc!! Such a cold snowy day here - I have been happily sewing and watching the snowflakes fall.

Oh, sorry to hear about your vagabond. Being electronic was the one reason I didn't get that machine. I hope you get it fixed soon. dani133

I just bought a Vagabond so I am hoping that it hangs around a bit longer then some of the others have. My Big Shot is about 4 years old and doesn't want to crank through grunge board or chipboard. Love the new die and the music print on the books. Have a happy Easter! Vickie @60

Oh I was so sorry to hear that your VB is poorly, I do hope its repairable, what a nuisance for you [[hugs]]. I love the top photo and slogan of the PM, it really made me chuckle!

Sorry to hear about the Vagabond, been tempted myself but there are a lot of scare stories around at the moment, think I will stick with hand cranking! Love your books, they look gorgeous x

Don't try to mend it yourself, just send it back as "unfit for purpose". Like a lot of others, I am glad I was not tempted by the Vagabond. I feel happier at being able to stop if the sandwich is a little too thick. I will definitely stick to my Cuttlebug and original red Sissix. Hope you get things sorted. Thank you for your visit and I hope you are recovering from the dentist thing - you can think of me in the same state next week. Have a good Easter. xx Maggie #9

oh no, hope your vagabond comes back to life soon!

Get in touch with Sissix ... or go through the shop where you purchased it. My Vagabond blew out huge amounts of smoke and it was scary but was replaced without question and the lady from Sissix has ASSURED me that there "will be no further problems" - they have certainly tweaked the design as my new one sounds different when I use it. Got to say I am still very cautious of it ... I made all my Christmas cards last year with it - first embossing and then die-cutting so it got used at least 400 times ... oh, and I embossed the envelopes too so it was used around 600 times!!!! Then I got it out the first week in January and it started to smoke as soon as I plugged it in. I feel very let down by all the faults I keep hearing ... I just need to be able to cut grungeboard so will have to stick with it as I hear other manual die-cutters won't cut it. BUT if I get any further problems then I will not be replacing it but insisting on a different cutter!
Hope you soon recover from your ordeal at the dentist! Love Debbie #99 xXx

PS: I am a MASSIVE Tim Holtz fan so am drooling over all the goodies on your workdesk! Love Debbie xXx

Sorry I am so late, things got in the way. Thanks for sharing, stopping by me and putting your number (so appreciated.) Happy Easter to you and yours - Hugs, Neet #10 xx

Hi. Great article and information that you have written. Good going. The best part of silk sarees is the ones from Kanchipuram. Silk sarees from Kanchipuram are the queen of silk sarees. For example, Lilac Silk Saree is a type of saree that has intricate designs woven into it.
