the card i have made is an gift card why i hear you ask as the prima flowers used have a pair of Strawberry earrings hanging My first attempt at jewellery making!Gems from Papermania ,card is DCWV,and the Backing Papers used are free with cardmaking &paper crafts june edition.Strawbwrrie brads are from crafts u love,lace is from my crafty stash along with all items used for earrings.The sentiment on the card is from daisy & dandelioncollection ,and inside stamped sentiment is from another free item from a magazine.The strawberry images inside the card are from the whiff of joy summer kit.

the flowers are from Prima ,tag sentiment was Rak,and the butterflies from craft stash.I have made this card for my eldest daughter to give to her sister on monday as it's her birthday,so hope they like it.

This weeks challenge over at the Cup Cake challenge the theme is "Blossoms &Butterflies so this card i am entering for this challenge also .

Then Over at Charisma Cardz this week there challenge is to Alter it!Well with my daughters birthday on monday i have run out of wrapping paper due to be unwell havent had chance to get some.I remember last christmas the same thing happened and made some.So i have altered some brown paper and turned it into wrapping paper so hope you like it!

Inky Impressions

My wee darling stamps arrived yesterday afternoon and yes i couldnt wait to try them.if youve not seen the collection pop over to Inky impressions and have a wee buy.you wont be disappointed.They are so adorable and the quality is superb! They are extra deep etched red rubber, full of detail and come pre-cut with EZ Mount. The package comes with a hang hole and laminated insert ( which is in full color) that your stamp clings to for easy storage.they are so amazing cute characters and very versitile !you will long for more....

i was up early hours of the morning due to pain and discomfort so thought id take my mind of that and use my stamps.

Winter Wonderland challenge

Colour Create Challenge week 22

This weeks challenge at colour create is a colour combo of;

Grassy Green,Apple Green,Sunflower Yellow,Lemon & White.

There is an optional extra this week which is to decorate the inside of the card and envelope.

I have used ;

Dcwv ;Card & Glitter textured Paper& Basic Grey Papers A45 pad.

Image & Sentiment;This was from a recent swap ,i have coloured with copics.

Flowers;Prima Random Blooms from Poppicrafts.

Green Frill Ribbon;From Crafts u Love.

Yellow ribbon ;Recent RAK

Buttons; From craft stash.

Envelope inside ;Dcwv glitter Blossom Paper & Basic grey.

i have incorporated all colours and decorated the inside and envelope too which was an optional extra.

Decoupage Christmas card,C.R.A.F.T Challenge 7

Im a happy bunny this morning as ive just found out ive won a Gina K(Gina K designs)Competition and ive won $200 dollars worth of crafty stuff ,ive not told the girls yet.I also found out this week ive won the Stamp uk competition on twitter and won crafty goodies too so seems to be my lucky week.!they always say comes in 3's ...lol.

Anyway onto todays challenges that ive entered.

Well yesterday i managed to get into my christmas stash that has been sat in the box since it arrived.I have done the Anita's Decoupage Card which i have to say i highly recommend excellent quality and when you have only one hand working like me..lol it's perfect.All die cuts so no scissors which was great for me at the moment .the price of the set is £3.99 the christmas tree they also do pointsetta one .you get the A$card and envelope the larghe decoupage die cuts to make that card,then you get loads more enough for 5-6 cards .So very good value ,for excellent quality cards.this week over at the C.R.A.F.T challenge blog .Challenge 7 is to make a Decoupage card ,pile the layers on this would have been ideal for this challenge but i have already submitted my challenge DT cards so you will have to pop over and see what cards i made.

2Challenges simon says & Whiff of Joy

Two challenges today.
Now for this week's challenge at Whiff of joy they have a recipe for you to go by. So here is what you need to have on your card or project. 3 patterned papers, 3 flowers and 1 ribbon.
I have used the whiff of Joy image from the summer kit coloured with copics,3 prima flowers,ribbon from stash, 3 patterned papers that were free with a craft magazine,brads are from Queen &co,Gems were ffrom papermanis .hope you like my take on this weeks challenge.

This week we Simon Says Challenge is a colour combination for you........Lemon, orange, apple green and pink - lovely Summery colours.

So this is my take on those colours using the the new Whiff of joy summer kit coloured images in with copics,flowers from prima ,charm from stash.Card is dcwv,andpaper is from the bloom collection.Sentiment is also from woj kit.charm from my stash.Hope you like my card.

Christmas Card

I am still the one handed crafter ,and getting withdrawls !So today my hand felt a wee bit better just the splint thats hot especially in temps of 29 hot sunshine not the ideal thing to have on.So i raided my new christmas stash of goodies that have been abandoned in the box.I have made the anita's decoupage card which was fab luxury quality goods no scissors required as die cut...whey hey just what the doctor ordered,as withdrawl is a horrible experience...lol.Plus after youve done the main image you have extras left over to make at least 5-6 other cards.I ordered most my xmas goodies from here great value and fantastic service next day infact.If you spend so much you get free postage and loyalty points!

Hope you like my card!all comments welcome ,so easy to do especially if you have one hand outta order or even suffer from arthritis as no cutting needed a breeze.

This weeks challenge at Simon Says This week our challenge for you is to make a card or project for a sick child. We all know how GREAT it feels to get happy mail for no reason, so imagine how a child who is ill would feel to get happy mail....I can just imagine the BIG GRIN on their little faces!! It will bring such happiness to them, so we thought we would support Post Pals and Make a Child Smile and get some cards to those children who could use a "hug"!!!So i have made a 2nd card like the one i made for my daughter's birthday this time made a book mark to match.The book mark is for DCD challenge as this weeks theme is "Anything But A Card"so im hoping the book mark fits the bill.

Charisma Cardz Challenge & C.R.A.F.T challenge 6

Two challenges i have entered this project in all inspired fron the inspirational photo from C.R.A.F.T challenge.

Firstly over at Charisma Cardz this weeks Rubbernecker week, so this week anything goes ,any craft project.Theres 4 prizes and you can enter upto 4 times .

So i have entered my school album and thankyou cards that was the inspiration i got from the piccy below which is part of my DT project this week at the C.R.A.F.T challenge blog.Hope you like it!

Secondly This weeks C.R.A.F.T challenge is based on an Inspirational picture (see below)

So for this challenge i have made a School memories Album as my daughter Chloe leaves in July to go to High School in September.The 2nd photo you can see is the back and front cover of the album.The inner pages i will upload later as i finish them all.The middle pages of the album i have used white and black card from DCWV ,and made the inner middle pages into a black board so teachers and her friends can leave messages of Good Luck for her using inkessentials white pen.

The 3rd picture is the card i have made for her teacher to say thanks when she leaves in July.

Both these tutorials you will find on there blog.I have never made either card before so it certainly was a challenge and one that i enjoyed and hopefully improve on next time .I have used Dcwv Blue card ,Dcwv the winter mat stack papers,the image is "you to me bear"coloured with copics ,glamour dust used for the snow and die cuts for snow flakes ,and snowman.Brad in blue snowflake is pear blue from papermania,Sentiment printed off computer and layered using same card as for main card .Hope you like my Stair step fold card .Im sure i will use again and improve all the time.I have got a couple of photo's for you to see.Thanks Ladies for another great challenge that certainly took me to the next level as never made before.

Winter Wonderland Week 4,DCD week 2

One card 2 challenges first .This weeks challenge over at Winter Wonderland is "BlueChristmas"so this is my entry for this challenge .I have used Bo bunny brilliant blue dot card to make the 6x6 card.I have used DCWV winter mat stackdesign papers ,verse on tag from Constance Parker Graham,gems from Papermania ,snowflakes from K&Co,ribbon and sentiment from my stash .Have carried the theme onto the inside of the card.I am so pleased i have found this challenge as it has given me inspiration to get my butt amoving and start on my crimbo cards so my thanks go to the winder Wonderland DT Memebers fro such an inspirational challenge blog.Hope you like my take on "Blue Christmas"

Next Level Issue 3 ,Simon Says Stamp Challenge and Just Christmas and Birthday Challenge

This morning my youngest isnt well so ive been up since 2am ,boy she fell sleep in living room so i escaped next door to my craft room did some crafting best time quiet ,peaceful and no disturbance,inspiration was flowing..lol .Managed to get some challenge cards done pics below.

Creative Inspirations Challenge 11,Pile it on Challenge

This week over at my sister blog Creative Inspirations challenge blog the challenge 11 is set by me this week.I love ,making cards but also like trying my hand at other crafty projects too.Thats why this week i choose something a wee bit different and it is......Anything But a Card or ACT.
So im hoping that followers will bring loads of inspiration to there projects this week .Thes 2 items i have included this week from my self .1ST is a Ribbon holder i made from scratch using MDF,Painted and then decorated as you can see form the top picture didnt come out too bad .Now holds some of my ribbons ,as i could do with about 8 of them... also fits into the

"Pile it on challenge" too which is new challenge blog every sunday .Basically you have to add ribbons which is this weeks theme on to another card /project .So i made this ribbon holder.
My 2nd Entry has to be the Memory journals i made for the Stamping out Alzheimers acouple of weeks ago and i just adore this paper .These where made from scratch with the bind it all.

Winter wonderland challenge 3

This week the challenge over at Winter Wonderland is "Let it Snow" This is my first Crimbo card for 2009 so i do hope you like it.I have made a rule im going to carry on with this challenge every week to increase my crimbo card stock . Have used Magnolia images and made them as if she's gonna throw that snowball at him...lol.coloured with good old copics too.the paper is from last years xmas stock.Although this years papermania christmas backing papers are scrumptious truly!!!had a sneek peek in a mag .i just adore anything to do with christmas big kid really .but then when you think another 9 weeks and biy august is here and the christmas stash hits the shops.Thanks for the challenge glad i found you and am now going to enter in each week!

The 2nd is the challenge 15 over at the Creative Card Crew this week is Black and 1 other main colour .Well heres my take on that Challenge.
Happy birthday to my dear friend "June" this is her card i made for her but couldnt put it on until her birthday YES she is celebrating her 50TH and so sorry we couldnt manage to be at your party .I followed a sketch used co-ordinating papers for backing and also individual squares .The wooden chipboard numbers are thanks to my dear friend Carole she came up trumps for me.I have used stazon black ink opn the chipboard numbers,sentiment is from "Little Claires" and flowers from prima ,gems from stash.Hope you like my card especially June!
