Family Christmas Card 2009

well i have been so busy with doing cards for my alzhiemers i havent done any family or friends cards for us .So yesterday had a great start and got the cuttlebug file out and the big shot went to work.I have now made 20 of these cards and believe me sick of the site of this folder now ,but have made all my close family the same cards.I love this folder and it just looks so elegant and plus it was quick to do when you have have alot of the same design to complete .Which is something i dont normally do more than one design.

My first card is Festive Frame meets Magnolia here i have masked the tilda image so it looks like she's sat on the frame.I have used Gina K Luxury card ,MME D/Papers, coloured with copics.

I have used the Festive Frame and masked the Magnolia image on top.The papers are my minds eye,Prima flowers,Sentiment is also from the festive frame set.The image is coloured with copics ,Stamped with ,black stampin up!classic black.this is the 2nd card ive made 2 different colour combo's used.

So here's my take on these challenges. Ive used the lovely vintage stamp, out yet again this year.This is one of those stamps that you can bring out every year so!

I have stamped the image with stampin up classic Black

coloured with copics,glitter pens used on the stars and Glamour dust on his beard..

distressed the edges with the great wee tool from Tim Holtz which is fab!

D/Papers are mixture of DCWV and American traditions.

Brads from crafty stock i think they were from papermania.

bow from my crafty stash .I have now made these into a set of 5 all the same so i can sell as a pack at the alzheimers Bazaar.

Hope you like my take on your challenge.I may be back later with my project i started last week before health took aturn for worse ,but happy to say much better today so maybe just ,maybe im over the reaction !and back to my ittle old self!

Christmas Cuties

Well im so glad ive not been out the past few days as the weather here in the UK has been servere gales 75mph and heavy and i mean heavy when it rains here it chucks it down!!!lol. Alot of Places have flooded as a result of this.
Just popped by to say hi ,sorry for not posting sooner but have had a servere reaction to the swine flu jab and at the weekend suffered and ended up in Emergency .I have to say after we all got a huge scare at the weekend ,i am feeling alittle better still have to take it easy.Havent done much crafting the last week just not been well enough,these are some of the cards i made last thursday before having the dreaded jab!I must say have fallen in love with this Kraft card (SU)These are for my Alzhiemers Bazaar which is slowly creeping up !...lol .hope your all well and dont forget to enter the weekly candy above for a chance to win loads new craft items .Changes every Monday this monday coming i have got a wee Sugar Nelllie stamp for you .....Whey hey pop back then to see which one!!!

Sorry im abit late in uploading this DT card as i had my swine flu injection yesterday and seemed to suffer a reaction which i new id have some symptoms for 25-48hrs but nothing like what i experienced.

Anyway onto this weeks C.R.A.F.T challenge which this week is a;

ABC this weeks challenge is H for hidden the tag pocket has a gift card stuck to it for M&S .I have made this to hold the gift card in the wee pocket afixed to the tag rather than give the shops we paper envelope.

This is my take on this challenge using K &co Design Papers and Poinsetta embellishment from K& CO also.Just kept it plainish and simple.the tag will hold a wee gift card on secured with a glue dot so doesnt come off in post.

Glazed Pointsetta...2 Challenges

I have entered this into 2 challenges this week the first at;

Crafty Cardmakers;This week you have to stamp somethingbut also try something new.Well this is my 2nd Digi stamp ive ever done .I printed it off several times ,coloured with copics and layered several times on top of the image to form decoupage.i have then used Glamour dust and sakura clear glazed pen to give the sheen.The card is from Gina K Designs,the backing paper from yet again the "Christmas Mint Collection "by S.E.I. The ribbon says "Happy Holidays"and is from Poppicrafts.

Now the second Challenge im entering this into is for the Gina K Design Forum Stamp T.V.

This week was to use glaze on your project whihc i have certainly done .Thanks Gina for the fab tutorials you do on Stamp t.v.

Also she has a fab shop here great quality goods and also shipps to uk if you see anything you want just take note email them instead of checking out on site .They work out the shipping the cheapest way and send pay pal invoice through.I usually takes 4-5 days!yes as quick as that from usa.So worth a peek and you wont be disappointed in any of her craft goods quality is second to none!
