Woyww 116....Twilight

Well it's wednesday already!Where does the time go ?The girls are back next wednesday to school,well thats if the bus passes arrive knowing last year it was december before they arrived Suffolk C/Council never seem to be organised.

First of all i should have uploaded the above piccy when i received the altered matchbox swap that Neil Walker arranged on Woyww.Above piccy shows the gorgeous box i received from Neil himself How lucky am i!!!I absolutely love this and the domino book so cute!Thanks Neil although did email him to thank him when it arrived.
Now onto my desk ...well this is what it looks like this morning.The piccy below shows the right of my desk.There you can see the altered book i had started last week ,and have nearly finished ,it's sat drying as i completed yesterday just needs tweeking.Also i have started to alter a blank book/box these come in sets of twos this is the smaller of the 2.on top of larger one.Sat drying after yesterdays craft session

Now to the left of me are some items i used yesterday on my daughters twilight canvas.

Some charms that need putting in the box ,Tag nearly finished need to add some gems ,the corner of a black canvass my 14yr old is now doing.All holidays chooses the last week to start and craft!sounds right..lol

There you go the canvass distressed with black soot ,and dryed awaitng my daughter to complete .im sure it will be another twilight one for her room!R Patz mad she is counting the days till new dawn premiers ....i just agree as don't intrest me a bit ,but i do know some of you ae twilight fans so i thought id show you the lovely red canvass collage i did for her room yesterday.Which i think has encouraged her to have ago !


"TWILIGHT CANVASS"

I used distress stains to cover the canvass.These canvasses are flat best buy brand new pack 3 from charity shop.I seem to think ive mentioned them before but i got from Sue Ryder shop.

I have added a tag distressed and used T/Hooltz stamp on home made flower distressed the edges.The owl stamped coloured cut out of canvass.Added twilight ATC size with stickles red ie blood.Bottle cap with R/patz photo on top added beeswax to get stunning effect love this technique just doesnt show well in photo.Some of the papers used are from an RAK .This pad is absolutely Lush ideal for any Twilighht fan made by DCWV.
Below is close up of tag and rt side of canvass.The charm wander is sat on a black lace flower whihc recently i have been making.Small metal frame with title twilight in .The butterfly wing was my daughters fav hair clip but it broke and she didnt want to chuck so have used that also added few more black stones and key charm and crystal leaf.,

Left side of canvass shows the bottle cap abit clearer although the flash light bounced off it.The metal love is large brad ive had for years never used.The apple i have used rock candy on to give better effect.Distressed the edges of photo with old paper.
I have added clips and chain to the back so she can use as wall hanging.

She was over the New Moon with it!...lol

Anyways hope you all have fab wedensday will try and get round you all.As last week had trouble on a few leaving messages so hopefully this week blogger behaving.

Lastly im having clearout of items i have got two of or even 3!yep so take alook HERE as i have and will be uploading items for sale all day to day.From stamps to mists ,paints promarker sets all new

London Tag.....Travel

Morning all well past few days since the weather has been rather nasty shall we say .Ive managed to get some crafting done and have entered this tag into a couple of challenges.

I have used Tim Holtz Tag die ,Covered with Morton Hall Papers whihc are lush and will have to buy more!Distressed using Brushed Corduroy,Vinatge photo.

I have used the beautiful stamp set from Andy Skinner Creative Journey and stamped in

Archival ink Plum,Archival black,Stampabilities post mark in archival black.

I have used my dinamo to create the London Title and added metal frame whihc was lovely gift in an RAK.
To finish off have added fibers and rusty old key

Well sure do hope that the weather improves here for the bank Holiday weekend.

Something tells me not.

I shall be back later with some ATC's and a piccy of the wonderful matchbox i recieved from Neil Walker in the Matchbox swap he arranged via Woyww.

WOYWW 116......BEEN A WHILE BUT IM BACK!

Good morning seems ages since i joined in with WOYWW.

This is due to holidays and life getting in the way.Can't wait to get looking at those desks seeing what youve all been up to .If you too want to nose around the world and have apeek at lovely craft desks pop over to Julia's blog the boss and join in with this wednesday weekly tradition
Well the piccy's above show you my desk as it stands today .Yesterday was the first time i was able to craft and am at present altering dominos for a swap im doing.Im altering them with some beautiful vintage piccys that are made by Crafty individuals especially for domino's .Have to say they are lush! Then adding various techniques and mediums to them.Also on my desk is a tag that is drying will show more once it's finished.
Also on my desk i was busy sorting out all my charms trinkets and ideology bits and have now got the lovely wooden box i created and altered plus had to use this brown one and as you see from the below piccy nealy full too.so me thinks i should get using some instead of buying anymore...lol

Below is a piccy that shows an altered journal whihc i have just covered and distressed and is awaitng to be finished ,thats when i get round to it.

Well it's nice to get back and can't wait to snoop may not get round you all today as sooo late i forgot it was wednesday where do the days go.

WOYWW.....Not A Lot...

Woyww ...gosh it's wednesday again seems to come round so fast.Yes we are actually having a Heatwave here in Suffolk.UK.....Yes dont faint but it was 85 yesterday ...yipeee...Lurve it but don't get me wrong just wish it would cool down at night!

Well i shall be honest my desk im half way through clearing up after making this tag.As im away from sat and wanted to come back to a clear workspace .The other reason my Stamp Magazine dropped through my letterbox last Thursday and havent had my nose out of it since.Are Crafty mate Hels has again excelled in the beautiful Stamp Storage....love it hunni!So with the Mag,my daughter tidying her room (as she had no clothes left)all in big mound on the floor ...washing,washing more washing....havent had much time to sit at my desk.Plus im back to drs tomorrow as my cavity where i had my tooth out nearly 2 weeks ago isnt healing me thinks still abcess so off to visit them .As i dont really want to suffer next week when im going to look after dad.

Simon Says Stamp & Show a Tag this week

I have used my fav Distress ink colours on this tag.Wild honey,dried Marigold,Barn Door,Spiced Marmalade ,Black Soot.The stamps ive used are Tim Holtz and also the wee Bird is SU from Punch Potpourri set.Also the birds are from Andy skinner Set.
I have added some Ideology bits to the tag along with a black key from my stash and a brad.Wee pearl for the blackbirds eye.
I hope your all making the most of the lovely Sunshine.Anyone on hols in uk should be having fab time toowith this heat!Have alovely creative week im away next week so see you when i return

WOYWW........112...Creative Mess

It is silly "O" Clock in the morning i have been up creating you will see what at the end of the post.But before we get onto what ive been up to ,yes it's wednesday and it's the day when we can snoop at other crafters desks until our hearts content.Going around the world without moving from our seats all thanks to "The Boss"over at the Stamping Ground.

Before i get onto my desk whihch last week was not at all tidy and to be honest todays not much better ,but instead of messy it's creative...well i like to call it that makes me feel better..lol.

You will be pleased to hear on friday the dreaded tooth got pulled yep!Not an easy task believe me 40 mins of pulling tugging the wee bliter came out.I have to say at one point thought my jaw bone was coming too Ouch!!Still very painfull...Anyways enough of that now onto my desk this week.

Well it's one of those past few days where i have more than 1 project on the go why do i do it you ask?Don't know just do so got lots things on the go.First the red canvas you can see im doing a collage for my eldest big fan twlight Rob Patz..don't ask not seen one film and not going to either!Anyway the canvass i found in a Sue Ryder charity shop on friday on my way to dentist.A pack of 3 canvass boards 18x 25cm...Bargain price £1.They have alot of canvasses ,and arty stuff brand new so maybe worth popping in if you have one.I have used distress stains on it thats as far really as ive got.Just getting bits pieces out ready.

This is the otherside of my desk which has few items in the making all need finishing off.A few tags and ATC's.Few charms at the ready near blue flower is bottle cap with bees wax in and a charm.I have also made this week a wee book from Tim Holtz.
That i found on you tube click above to see how to make .As yet not distressed or added anything ,also whilst i was there found an ATC pocket folder made from 1 sheet 12x12 you can view that here also again i have to get these finished to hold atc's for swap .Just thought different to send rather than in wee plastic bags.You can decorate as you like.The book at the front 2 Atc folders pocket books behind in below piccy.

This piccy below was a great find couple years ago .In my local newsagents in the village.I have decorated the front by drawing then painting my design using twinkling H20's.I gringe when i see it now as i dont do drawing...lolThis shows you one of the pages filled with ATC's ive made or have been sent.Just so you get idea of the inside.Each page has 3 rows of 3 pockets so you can put them in back to back and make more of the storage if you like.

Why you ask am i showing this again....Well on Monday i popped in our local spa guess what they had them on sale for £2!!

You will never guess what they are surpose to be for?but ideal size for ATC's or inchies as storage

This is what it is ...It is a football album the ones kids by the packs cards for.They are in shops now obviously not selling too well.It also had 3 packs football cards and a game of some sort which i gave to my friends son.

Now i will gesso the cardboard and decorate to whatever i like .There i have another ATC folder .Theres 21 pages and can have atc's in both sides back to back.Now they normally sell for £4.50 but mine was reduced .I surpose due to football season starting up again didnt want to get rid maybe? I didnt argue it just caught my eye.Thought id let you know incase any of you looking for some storage .It also holds some tags too.So that was my bargain of the week.Havent yet thought about how im gonna decorate this one as yet .

I have just been sat watching Old Gordon tryng to put the resturants in USA to rights in hells kitchen.
I was sorting out my lace productive and lazy at the same time ,maybe catching 2 birds with one stone as they say...lol.

Started messing with the lace and tried something out with a needle and thread .

This is what the thread and lace turned out like.

Yep i made some handmade lace flowers ,for my first attempt didnt think they turned out too bad!What ya think!?You can add brads,buttons ideology bits to the centre
as you can see in below photo have added a pearl just to show you.

How i came about making them was i received a beautiful cream crochet flower large one yesterday from a friend thought gosh if only i could crochet that well.Instead i did the nearest thing and used lace.

Well im off to bed now as my clock says 2am.Gosh doesnt time fly when you get carried away crafting.I will be up at 5.30am as hubby off to work.But i thought id do this post now.As nothing gonna change on my desk before then.

So hope your all well and creating or like me and 2 days in to kiddo's holidays wishing it was the first week September..lol.....Oh yes im wishing the summer away,but then what summer ?think we had our summer in April/May here in uk!
Lately it has been more like October weather rain wind and more rain!!!

Anyways have great wednesday and a creative week ahead!

What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 111

Good Morning peeps and oh boy what a week since last woyww.Im not sure about your part of the country but we have only had 2 summer days Friday and yesterday.The rest well seems someone up above keeps turning the tap on frequently...lol heavy at that!

Gosh another Wednesday has arrived to cheer us all up thats when we get to snoop around the worlds craft desks.With permission.Thanks to the boss our Julia and her fab idea over at the stamping ground.

So if youd like to join in with this amazing wednesday WOYWW pop by her blog and join in the fun.Great inspirations to be had along the way.

Well i still have my tooth yes it was surpose to be pulled on monday ...Nope didnt happen another 5 days of these awrful anti-biotics and back friday to get pulled!

In the mean time i have done awee bit of crafting.My desk today is just one huge mess yep absolutely a dump!...lol

So in stead as im very embarrassed at the state of my room .I am going to show you just acouple of bits ive been upto.

The first is an altered match box this is the first time ive done one this small usually use the big kichen size boxes.

Here ive distressed the box using my inks and have added a altered domino that has then been glazed with distressed crackle glaze to give that lovely effect.I have then coloured a plain white prima flower with matching distress inks.Glazed the flower once the inks where dry .Added Tim Holtz ideology flower ,and flatbacked pearl to the centre and small string of wee pearls hanging down.I then made a lovely wee pin to add bit extra lush to the flower.
The ribbon ive dyed using various distress inks to co-ordinatew with the colours and shades of the box
Along the side ive stamped a Prima fringe in Black archival ink and then added gem stones to the fringe of the stamped image .I have done this both sides.

Im pleased with the result as this is first time ive altered something so small..lol.

I have also been busy creating tags for a swap im in in August yes bit head of myself.But due to going up to dads as mum is 80 on 9th August i thought id plan ahead so ive no rushing back to deadlines.This tag below i must say has to be a fav i love the waythis has turned out.You can see all the deets in post below.

Well thats it from me hopefully by next week my desk wil. be a desk.

"Tags " Sew Nice and Botanical

Morning Wow where has summer gone??It is like winter here in Norfolk today.Very cold wind and well sky looks full of rain.Do hope it stays away as my eldest daughter is going upto the forest as the Script Concert takes place tonight not much fun in the rain !The cold wind will be bad enough.

Anyways i havent been out this morning ive been getting all creative.Now my mojo is back i aint letting it go...!!!!...lol

So my first tag is for Simon Says Stamp And show.

Whihc this weeks theme is Stitching on your project can be Faux.Ive gone for Faux whihc is the lovely stamp set by Stampin Up Sew Lovely .I have samped th stitches in black archival ink down the side.Distressed the edges with old Paper round the edges.Iv e added pearls to the neck of the manique.The background paper is also SU.I have added prima flowers and pearl ended hat pins ,sprayed with tattered angels glimmer spray.
Added an aray of colourful fibers to the tag from my stash .

My second tag today is for the challenge over at Tuesday Taggers again not took part for sometime due to my missing mojo!

So this weeks challenge was Birds /Bees theme
I have distressed the SU paper with Brushed Corduory and the edges with pine needles distress ink.I have used Tim Holtz Bird cage die and distressed that also with Brushed corduory.

I have added the sentiment from Tim Holtz Set "Stuff to say" Stampers Annonymous.Which was stamped in black soot distress ink.

Added green pearls to the cage at the bottom .The bird is so cute and from Prima.

The metal rose is Tim Holtz Ideology set.

Dragons Dream Team Tag It On

Well after smooching around the board this morning of all the lovely crafters that take part in WOYWW.I came across Helens fab tag and then Frankies beautiful artwork
I then got myself all inky and have come up with thios tag to join in over at

check it out .This week anything Tim Holtz oh boy just up my street with my mojo making a surprising return since Easter im already to play so here's my tag!

Also entering this into Simon Says Stamp Challenge:This week it is anything goes!

I absolutely in loveee with Andy Skinners new rangs of stamps and have choosen to use the London set.I have first distressed the tag using distress inks .I have then cut out the main figure of a chappie and have coated him in distress crackle paint from ranger and over top added old paper distress ink.

The sentiment down the side all from the same set.Says "Gentlemen never wear brown in London"I have then stamped the london bus in distress ink barn door,and the birds,lamp post in archival black.The Buckingham palace sign stamped on paper artsy card and crackle paint added to give distress look stuck with 3d pad.
The flower is white prima i have distressed with barn door ink ,then glossed with pebo brilliant gloss medium.Added a wee crown charm to the centre.

This is my desk this morning on this dark warm drab day!
First of all it's been a busy week my baby is 13!!!yep 13 to day and she had party in a hall with her friend who was 13 on Sunday ...yes have to say still recovering...lol.
So HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHLOE 13 Today!!
Now i have rather a messy desk this week above shows some altered match boxes im in the process of creating .

this is where i seem to have my wee wicker basket with items i need at hand.Peeping through there is my pink gun amongst stash paper.
This is a tag i made on Monday whilst winding down from all the party rush on saturday.
Couldnt believe my luck my mojo just flowed but im hoping it will get back to normal soon!

I will try get round you all during the day as i have her chloe's boyfriend her best friend and her boyfriend for bierthday tea tonight.Then no more birthdays until December thank goodness!
Thanks for all your kind messages last week omg by wednesday i had grown a tennis ball on my side of the cheek.My antibiotics seem to be doing the trick and go on monday for the tooth to be pulled as already had root work done which hasnt worked.
Have creative week Just off to check and see if ive won the euro millions boy isnt it millions too and 1 lucky UK winner too!So if i dont return you know it's me!....lol fat chance by hey hoe all live in hope!

Well It's Been On ALong Journey But It'sBack?

Well it's been on along Journey but it's Back!!!!

Yes after months Easter to be exact my mojo

has returned as yet not to it's full capacity but near enough...lol.

For me to Craft!

So i am able to join in with Hels lovely challenge again over at

Sunday Stampers
This weeks challenge is:Flying

I have used the beautiful papers from Paper Artsy .Just shows long time since i crafted think the set is Thornton hall ....maybe wrong so please correct me .I have distressed with Black soot and old paper to make the backing paper dirty oldlooking and the diamond cut collage pieces too.I have used the airplane from same set cut out and have covered in crackle paint stuck down with 3d pads.
I have distressed the chipboard dial and added a pearl in the center.The flowers ,brad and ticket where from my much loved craft stash.

The stamp sentiment title Journey i think was freebie from magazine it's stamped black archival ink.The fibers are from my stash.
I hope you like my creation im so pleased im able to craft
without staring into space with know inspiration to flow.
