Oh Jude this is a fantastic way to remember your Mum and what she means to you, sadly my own mother also suffers from Altzheimers although she hasn't yet got to the stage where she has forgotten us yet but I know it's a downhill journey Thinking of you, Jenni x

Oh Jude this is beautiful, as is your Mum.

Your post made me fill up and be thankful for the small but precious things in life. When my Grandma had Alzheimers I was only 16. I remember being so upset that she didn't recognise me anymore but my Mum helped me understand by saying that all her memories and love are locked away in her heart and that the Alzheimers can't get to those. Up until this day that thought gives me a lot of comfort.

Take care hun.
