Spring is in the Air

Good Morning to you all.Seems like an age since i last blogged and created.Life just sometimes gets in the way...tut tut.Thankyou for all your comments re hubby he is okjust started to mobilize gently,Dr signed him off for another 2 weeks.

Yesterday i managed some me time well my daughter Sophie also joined me in my crafting room.So we both sat having a good old inky time.Sophie has just joined blog land would love you to pop by and leave her amessage would make her day Here.

This is a tag ive also made for the March Tag swap im in.Just love these colours reminds me of spring.Mind we have had some lovely sunny blue sky days here in Norfolk of late even got washing dry outside!

Anyways onto my tag whihc ive cut with Tim Holtz tag die.I have used various distress inks .

Wild honey,dried Marigold,Spiced Marmalade,and Rusty hinge around the edges.I have then stamped the image off a beauitful stamp called"Mariposa"This was sent in a RAK from a friend in the USA.It has the name on the stamp and a label saying bought from Michaels nothing else.so thats all i know.I embossed the image using Stamp in Up black embossing powder.Also inked the edges of the flowers whihc are from Wild Orchard Crafts.Then aded this lovely Glass embellishment from Prima to the centre of the fowers.

The ribbons are from my Halloween stash!

Good Morning Woywwers ...Just time seems to be flying by where is this year going March already !Well another Wednesday has arrived so that means nosey at the ready and hop over to Julia's Blog at The stampin Ground if youd like to join in with the Wednesday nosey!

I went away to dads last week had fab time relax met my friend had coffee,shopped relaxed.Then saturday hubby went to shut the door behind him and Bingo his back went!Omg we have had a made few days hes upstairs bed ridden,cant get out to go loo nothing.What a saturday night we had called gp on call who told us to ring Ambulance needs hospital need xray before given any pain releif.Well cut long story short .The ambulance turned up 2hrs later .How i did loose my rag with the ambulance girl i will never know .Cut long story short when i get time i am going to complain.Chloe answered door and she shouted mum ambulance for dad to go to hospital.I came down .The ambulance woman shouted "you think im taking him to hospital with back pain your wrong"!!!!Im not going to bore you anymore but went from bad to worse .Found out why she was so angry no ambulances in our area all out she had to come hour and half away .Not my fault!So since i got back had very eventfull weekend.

I havent done much crafting ive made another tag for my March tag swap i more to go im making them all the same this months.Hope you like it.Theres nothing much on my desk this week as havent had time with my hospital opds ,hubby iin bed iunable to get out to go loo ,plus sophie's drs and hospital opds.

I hope you like my second tag maybe this week i may steal some me time and get the other one dne then mailed off.

Yesterday Neet made my day bless her the post man arrived with some lovely piccys of Sir Tim Holtz from there craft session last week and she got his Autograph for me and he even put my name he he he OMG i was like someone whop had one the lotto...lol

I have in retunr found her bird cages she is looking for so as soon as they arrive neet i need your addy and will post them out to you.

As you know i didnt go to see Tim with everything going on just as well.but i made up for it by seeing him on QVC ...thats not all i had a spend too yes .Do you know since i got back saturday i havent had chance to even have aplay with my goodies.

YES ...the VAGABOND ...i trested myself and of course 3 new dies.so maybe bu next week i will fingers crossed manage to have a play...lol

Morning all well Wednesday came so quick and where has Feb Gone.Thankyou to all who left messages last week .I did actually get round you but again had trouble leaving messages on some blogs just wouldnt let me in.

Well i am not here today in up at Dad's in Darlington come up for half term .I had my tests at hospital last thursday and well instead of having 6 week follow up i have to go back week today and they have brought my indepth brain scan to Tuesday.So i thought that coming to dads would be good chance to get a break at same time good for Sophie.Plus if anything turned out to be wrong(or why would they bring everything forward)then may not see dad or mum for while.

So whats on my desk well before i went away i have left some Half Term Candy for all you peeps.If your like me who couldnt make it to Tims craft session.....which so desperately wanted to go:(.then this candy may just be for you who.

One World One Heart

I participated in the One World One Heart event last year and had such a great time reading and meeting new bloggers that I wouldn't have come across otherwise and I really wanted to be part of it again. Unfortunately this is the last of five OWOH global events Lisa Swifke has run, so get your blogging hats on and get over there and join the fun. I had lots of lovely messages last year from all around the world some whom im still in contact with.So why not join in with the fun.

Just for the ones that are not regular readers of my blog .Im an avid crafter who had to give my crafting business up due to illness in 2006 .After being diagnosed with ME/CFS Fibro.

Since then it is back to being the most enjoyable hobby i know plus it helps me pace my ME.I am into any sort of crafts,From cardmaking,scrapbooking,Altered Art,Atc's.I will try anything once.I am a huge fan of the Lovely talented Mr Tim Holtz.Try each year to do his 12 tags at christmas .shame he doesny do 12 months a year too,but such busy man i expect he wouldnt have the time!

I live in the Norfolk/Suffolk borders with my Hubby and 2 daughters who absolutely have so much patience with me and support my craft hobby so much.The best bit they love going craft shopping and support me 100%....can't say that of many men...lol so he is a gem when it comes to that!...Wont praise too much head might swell..lol.We have a lovely puppy Westhighland white called "Bobbie" who will be 1yr old on 19th Feb.So much lovely forests with the sea side not far theres lots to see.We still go back to London regulary as we moved from there to here.Now awaiting for the credit crunch to be over so we can now move to Hertfordshire .As my husband commutes 2 hr drive there and back to work.But at the moment house prices are at the lowest here in the uk wouldnt benefit selling now ,but im sure every where is feeling the pinch.

Iwas trained as a senior Nurse speciallizing in ITU and A&E nursinf and loved every single minute .Always wanted to be a nurse form the age of 11 and yes i did it!and love it!

I am the only member of my family in the health care proffesion and for that mater only one who ia arty.Both my daughters love to make cards and albums so im hoping they will carry on with creating later in life.My eldest also likes to blog with her friends she is mad on Rober Pattison yes "TWILIGHT FAN" me never watched it nor interested in such a movie .But keeps her occupied.My youngest well was once a tomboy but now has found the colour pink at 12 years old.I thought she would never get out of combat trousers how wrong i was .she has now growing up to be a girlie girl and yes i actually saw her legs on saturday as we wnet out and she wore a dress!!!even are friends where shocked!!!bless her.Anywyas enough rambling enjoy your time leas efeel free to comment on any posts .i will try get back round you all even if it takes me past feb 17th as it seems to grwo each year.

Good Morning thursday hope your all well and getting ready for half term those with children.Well i have for you a quick post this morning as im off to hospital for my Flusocide angyograph English terms die injected into my hand so they can find out why ive gone blind in one eye.Yes im the one eyed crafter ...Anyways when i return iv e been told i will be orange!even my pee but thats more info than you need..lol

Anyways onto todays creation whihc i have fallen in love with dont often say that about a project.Really enjoyed creating this maybe because ive been too busy clearing out my craftroom for past 2weeks and looking after my sick daughter..

This tag i have sort made into a shape of a bird cage.I have used distressed inks ,Rusty Hinge.Vintage ,Old Paper and clear embossing powder.Rock candy stickles for my wee bird.The lace is from Wild Orchard crafts ,the gem from a swap i received.The glass embellishment prima.Fibres from my craft stash .Sentiment is from Tim Holtz Visual Artistry Collection

Woyww........Craftroom Nearly Done!

"Warning Long Post Clean n Tidy Craftroom" Good Morning Woyyers well have i got a snoop for you!...lol If you have no idea what im on about and would like to find out maybe youd like to snoop other peoples craft desks .Then pop along here to Julia's Blog ...the boss of this crafters craze you never know may just join in.

Everytime im in here i have my wee boy either by the french doors or underneath my craft desk.Bobbie 's face says it all this was taken when i was in the middle of the clearout.I thought i would show you as my wee "Bobbie" will be 1 year old on Saturday,gosh how time flies from the little white fur ball that st in my hand!To a handsome chappie!...lol

The above piccy shows my desk this wednesday morning the finished tag next to my circuit i created yesterdayHavent even put the tim holtz stamps away sat on desk rt hand side.Of course the cup a coffee...We all need Caffeen in the morning.The Teddy sat on table is a candle.actually candles both sides of the table.Now before you get any further down the page WARNING......

Craftroom is nearly done.....yipeeeeeeeee so i thought id show you my new room my new storage if you remember last week the mess how could you forget.Well all out of sight and away.So here goes this is the bottom of my craft desk showing smaller table with Wire racks on .On top of that my jars with prima flowers.Underneath the desk just peeping out is my stereo,and cd's.

Heres better piccy further onshowing one set of my new draws.On the top is a box im altering heart shaped .The case and round tube are awaiting to be altered the case is sophie's to alter.Thats once the Dr's find out whats wrong and she's feeling abit better.Not going into too much detail but Sophie still unwell dr's baffled yesterday poor lass had to go for more blood tests.Awaiting phone call from a consultant at th hospital.But we are no nearer to getting diagnosis.I wont ramble on as makes me so angry and my blood boil so we shall get back to my craftroom!

Now this piccy is down the rt handside wall of my craft room.I have managed to have 3 large storage boxes and on the end 12x12 trolley of papers and 12x12 card .theres still we gap before the door.The display you can see are creations i made .Cant show too close as couple things forth coming dt creations.The big book you can see leaning against the wall is an altered England World cup folder that boys collect foot ball cards in.Well the pages are just the right size for ATC's to fit in plastic sleeve and bargain at £1.50 loads papers found in all good newsagents.I have painted and decorated the front with paints.I will show you a close up another day.

This is better piccy showing you the 3 trolleys and my 12x12 paper trolley which has my carousel on and infront of that my big shot With some Tim Holtz configuration boxes on it.

I have deceided when tydying up that everything is out of sight bar these two they will sit at the other end to my creative display.Now it's just remembering where i put things...lol.Im learning .Now i can see my lovely mahogony wood floor...lol

So what ya think girlies was it worth the wait after last weeks mess....lol

Over the next few weeks i will show you waht ive got in my storgae draws.I can say i found things i had forgot id bought..lol like a woodware craft mat!heres me been using and buying the stampin up pads.

Anyway seen ive done a good job well i think so i treated myself to some new bits and pieces well as a reward say for getting it finished...lol

Challenge 53 Dt Card Creative Inspirations

Good Morning on this damp Dismal Sunday.Well it seems ages since i uploaded anything onto my blog.Just been a busy week between going to Drs & Hospital with Sophie and trying to get my craftroom sorted this week seems to have flown by.

Anyway i have managed to make My DT Creation for this weeks challenge over at my sister blog Creative Inspirations.

Onto my Creation well we were given some Digi Images to use and then i was lucky enough to be choosen for there birthday bash banner and won some free digi'd .So this one i have used is from the ones i won.She is just soooo adorable and versitile .I have made a couple of cards using this digi .Keep popping back as they may just appear soon.

So the image is coloured with distrss inks,Copics.The papers are from the Paper Cellar"Victorian Classics "it's called and they are Lush. If you happen to see them they are worth the money I paid £3.99 for 6x6 pad that had 50 sheets so good value .Just havent seen them anywhere since!
The Cream Lace is from a swap i received ,the flowers are from Wild Orchard Crafts. I have added Glimmer Mist "Latte"To them.The pearl pin is from Haus Designs these i won off the blog.They are stunning pins.I have added Glamour dust Crystal to the wings of the image using clear sakura pen just to give it a bit of Glitter and bling!Even thopugh doesnt show up too well in the photo.

Ticket is Tim Holtz i have also distressed that then added Rock Candy Sticklers to it.I have distress the edges of the card With T/Holtz distressing tool and then used distress inks around the edge to0.The lovely hession Ribbon with Beautiful on it i received in a Vintage Swap .I recently did and it just added that missing touch.
Well i hope you like my creation and i have inspired you in some way to join us in the challenge this will run for 2 weeks as normal.

good morning Woywwers well Wednesday again and unfortunately not alot on the workspace ie creations or crafting.As im hard at clearing out my craftroom ,rearranging,and awaiting new storage.But id youd like to go and have anosey at the other blogs where you may see some creations in the making .Go join in over at the bosses Blog Julia here.

Well sorry girls not much going on in my craftroom this week again .But after last weeks WOYWW you all asked to see my mess well this is what your getting this week...lol A big Sure Mess.although it is looking abit better this morning after taking these photos last night i have cleared away another trolley.Now ive youd like some crafty stuff from storage trolleys to Magnolia Stamps.Prima flowers pop by here and see what i have for sale.I shall be adding daily im sure.Hopefully next week i will have my new layout and will add piccys to show you.Plus may have some Clearout candy.....which have bought in specially !

This is actually my craft desk and corner what a mess think i need thosae Christmas Wowyyer Elfs to help me!Whatcha think??

Heres another trolley this one is now empty and has ben put up for sale .Gosh it is amazing what you find ,how much stuff you really do hoard .The amoutn of stuff ive got to alter and have kept is untrue .But ive made apromise to myself i will alter 1 aweek ...she says time permitting.

At the moment time isnt on my side or this would have been finished by now.But my eldest daughter hasnt been wel now for nearly going on 6months.At long last hubby and i took her back to the drs last friday and demanded they do more tests.Well they listened so glad they did as they have come back abnormal .Her blood tests showing tooo many Neutrophils .Whihc is not good but imnot dwelling on it im being positive they always say Nurses make the worst patients.being a nurse and a mum we have general idea whats going on.Im only hoping im proved wrong and the test comes back positive for Glandular fever although Decembers was negative.So my week has been taken up taking her back forthe to drs and hospital.but im hoping to get the room finished by this time next week as i have DT cards to create.
just hope not thrown my mojo out whilst clearing out...lol.
Thanks for all your lovely comments and wishes im feeling much better and the Anti-biotics seem to have worked.I just feel these GP's so quick to diagnose Virual infection so they dont need to treat and we suffer in the long run.But hey ho im doing ok!
So i shall be popping by to se all the lovely creations youve been making whilst ive been a Trashing!Hope you liek my new blog design thought new craftroom new blog layout...lol

Follow Your Heart

Good Morning Tuesday!Hope your all well and not got blown away by the gales where having here in the uk?It is like september /October weather except my Snowdrops are out!So spring must be springing into action soon.

Today i have a Tag creation for you i am invoved in a February Tag swap and this is a tag i made .Actually 1 of 3.I have called it "Follow your Heart"This sentiment ive used is from Stampin Up.I have distressed the tag using Brushed Corduroy,Fired brick and Rusty hinge.The sentiment is stamped in Black memento and then clear embossed powder added.I then added some small gems to try and make a heart shape around the sentiment.On to that i used some plastic recycled from Tim holtz Ideology pack.I fixed that onto the top with heart gems and stuck them using my glue gun...Highly recommend this it's the cordless one fab!
Added the ribbon and hession to the bottom and then handmade flower from red satin material and black pearls.All ribbons and heart die cuts from crafty stash.
To finish sprayed the tag with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist
Pearl.

Hot Chocolate &Cookies

Good Morning hope you all had alovely weekend .Now onto a new week where has January gone!gosh seems to have flown by!Hopefully we shall start to see spring in the Air and on Saturday we went out for a meal lovely village resturant not far from us.On the bank outside the entrance where gorgeous aray of Snowdrops full bloom.They are the first ones i see every year.So maybe spring has sprung!
We then went to visit some friends on Sunday i wasnt really feeling to good but we went and i took them some hopmemade cookies....Have to say they were delicious with the lovely cuppa hot chocolate they made marshmallows ,cream...ummm
Anywya i made the packaging for the cookies altering a Brown paper Lunch bag .Using a digi image from Robyn Fetish designs .As i thought went well with the choco chipped white and milk cookies i made.Coloured in the image with copics.The paper is from Flairdesigns the "Keep on Cooking Collection.Another find when i was clearing out last week .
These are gorgeous papers so i am going to put to good use and make a recipe book using the rest of the sheets.Sooo many good intentions just not enough time to create but i will ,once ive finished my craftroom.
So please watch this space or my blog shop.As i am getting rid of alot of storage as having new storage in my craft room.
Now back to my creation ive added a brad from Dooddle bug and also magnet to hold the flap down.

DT Creation for Challenge 52 Creative Inspirations

Morning all sorry bit late posting this put went out with friends last night for lovel;y meal.Had 2!!!just 2 drinks as on so much meds .but was nice to go out and enjoy.Even took the girls with us.My 13 year old was at the bar and well the bar man made her day and asked her if she was being served can i get you adrink?well oh the smile never left her face .She said what if id said yes ,well you wouldnt have , she was standing next to me i was being served...lol

But she is 5 ft 8" so is tall for her age and a model!.So that certainly made her night...well lads we don't go down that road....lol

Anyways onto my Dt Card for challenge 52 over at Creative Inspirations.This weeks Challenge is well with February looming in a couple of days time .What other than Valentines /Love.

theme .As long as you stay with the theme could be valentines card ,could be with love on your Birthday as long as we see the theme Valentines or Love on your card the worlds your oyster as they say!

I have coloured in the image with copics and added it to my creation with ed Pads.the sentiment is from Stampin up punched out with dove craft circle punch.All cardstock is SU.The design paper ive had for over year amazing what you find when you have clearout!lol.the papers are from Kaiser Craft "Love Struck"

The flowers are from Prima also the blue gems are primas stuck along the ribbon.The pin i made myself whay hey i hear you say..lol thats about the only thing i do where jewelery making is concerned !The lovely metalic Heart brad is from my crafty stash.The Ribbon Recycled from Birthday Present. I have distressed the edges of the papers using Tim holtz distress tool,the swirl is from marianne Designs the pearls from Kaiser craft.

Good Morning Thursday,hope your all well and keeping warm as it's very cold here this morning.I have a card fopr you today which i made at the weekend but havent had time to upload until now.
This card is made with the beautiful Lily of the Valley stamp.One of their recent releases,isnt it just cute!I have coloured with copics.I have used the lush papers from Making Memories and also some from last years Forever Friends collection.Cradstock is SU.sentiment is SU whihc has been punched with dovecraft circle punch. Used 2die cuts and just love this die and can i remember the name nope...Brain fog this morning one thinks..lol
The border are from Bazzil Basics which ive just found by Clearing out my craft room...and still doing long old process believe me!
The heart gems also found back of a draw.The flowers are from the lovely Wild Orchard Crafts along with the leaves.Sprayed with Glimmer mist.I have based my card
on Mindy's sketch over at Fuss and Fancy
